About Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers

Customer Reviews
I was curious to see how this chicken tender restaurant was like so I went here for dinner. The inside was bustling with many customers. I ordered the 3 piece chicken tender combo that came with fries, toast and a drink. Service was good for the most part. As for the tenders, they were breaded well and juicy with a seasoning that was similar to fried chicken which made it stand out from other chicken tender eateries I’ve been to. The side items were alright nothing extra to add. I did found it nice that they had memorabilia on the wall of the City of Buford and its notable accomplishments. Overall a nice experience.
Chicken is crisp and moist on the inside. Fries were good. The coleslaw was good. Had the three pice finger dinner. Comes with a drink for $10.99. The bread is really good. Definitely fast food and the place is packed. The parking is tricky due to the long drive through lines. We did get a table inside.
Our first impression of the location was that it was loud. The parking lot was filled with some Fast and Furious wannabes who sat in the parking lot and revved their engines all at once. It was about 10 cars, minimum. We couldn't place our order because if the noise. We had to wait until they paraded out giving their cars as much gas as they could. The ordering process was smooth. The menu is not expansive from what I could see. The food looked really appetizing. The visuals were on point but I fould it did not add up in seasoning. My son was impressed and he kept comparing it to Guthries. He like it better than Guthries. I did not. It's not horrible, but it's not somewhere that I have to return to. The cole slaw tastes like nothing. The tenders needed seasoning. The fries were okay. Probably the best thing on the plate. The bread looked good but it didn't have a distinct taste. I like the texture. The drink was fresh. The honey mustard was too sweet. The Cane sauce is a no for me, but better than Zax sauce, which I despise. It's worth a try. I'm not against, but I'm not a raving fan either. I'm also not against trying another location.
I can't help but to think Raising Cane's is definitely over-hyped, while the chicken tenders are good, they aren't anything out of this world, and the fries had zero seasoning/salt(is this normal?). The drive thru is set up the same as Chick-Fil-A, but without the speed or efficiency. If the restaurant wasn't so overhyped, it would probably be 5 stars from me, but based on the way it's talked about, it didn't live up to the expectations.
Excellent for what it is. I didn't know what to expect, figuring it was similar to Zaxby's or Magoo's. It's not though. They only do one thing, fried chicken fingers. No salads, no nuggets, and nothing grilled. The only things on the menu are chicken fingers, fries, coleslaw, and Texas toast. However, what they do, they do very well. The chicken fingers are breaded in a light but moderately crispy coating, and they're quite large. The fries were very fresh and hot and perfectly salted (I like lots of salt), the coleslaw was creamy and not too sweet, and the toast had plenty of butter and garlic. The food even looked like the signage and video menus which is rare for a fast food joint. The Cane's dipping sauce had a great tangy flavor, but you need to know that it's the only choice of dipping sauce they have other than ketchup. Value is also very good for fast food especially by today's standards.
