라홍부 마라탕 뉴저지 Rahongbu Malatang 辣洪府 麻辣烫

The mala here is delicious. Place is a little hidden, second floor, sharing a space with another restaurant. Service was great and food was fantastic!

The favor profile is exactly the same as Malatang places you’d find in Korea. Guo Bao Rou is pretty great as well, won’t taste any gamines and it’s not too sauced up. Can’t say it’s the best I’ve had but I don’t think I’ve found a place in the US that does both Mala and Guo Bao Rou better than here. Service is also excellent.

This is definitely definitely one of the most authentic dry hotpot(마라상궈) restaurants in New Jersey. I am a big fan of hot pot and absolutely love this place. The meat, seafood and vegetables are high quality, you walk to the counter and put ingredients to your own bowl, and it’s easy to order as much as you want! I can come here in big group and even just myself. Skewers(양꼬치) and other dishes like 꿔바로우 are good too!

I was craving for some hot and spicy malatang this past weekend and I stumbled upon this new restaurant. There aren't many places that serve authentic malatang-how they make it in Korea nowadays. You get to choose all the toppings you want in your tang including veggies, meats, fish cake, noodles, and seafood. They weigh the amount and price it by pound. They then cook it in the mala stew back in the kitchen. We got the medium spicy level and it was just right We also got an order of lamb skewers. I've had better quality so I don't recommend getting it here. The malatang however was delicious and it hit the spot on a chilly night. Service was great considering how busy they were. It's a casual environment and also byob! Parking lot is behind the building. Restaurant is on the 2nd floor.

Friendly and efficient service! Super clean and delicious. Ingredient bar is not as expansive as some places, but it had all of our favorite items the quality and cleanliness more than made up for this. We tried the dry malatang and the soup malatang - both had great flavor. The mild dry malatang was pretty spicy. The soup spice levels were much more toned down. Guobaruo was amazing. Also appreciated the service potato tempura which was crispy and delicious. There’s a white soup option for kids too. Highly recommend.
