Customer reviews consistently rave about the exceptional quality of the food and the world-class customer service at Que Sazon. One diner described their experience as "out of this world," highlighting the perfectly balanced flavors of the empanadas and the incredibly flavorful pork rice bowl as one of the best things they had ever eaten. The tostones and tacos also received high praise.
Another reviewer who visited with a party of seven for a birthday celebration echoed the sentiment about the outstanding service and food. They enjoyed both appetizers, the fried plantains and the yucca fritas, noting their great flavor and the wonderful chimichurri sauce. While the sangria was considered not the best, and other drinks like Mojitos and pisco sours were just "fine," the food was the undeniable star. The pork tostones were described as having "out of this world flavor," and the empanadas and french fries topped with pork or chicken were also well-received.
A major highlight mentioned by the second reviewer was the ceviche. With three different options available, their party tried all of them and found them to be the "best ceviche I have ever had"—remarkably fresh with amazing flavor and a hint of heat that was not overpowering. The fantastic flavors of coconut and mango were also noted. To conclude their meal, they thoroughly enjoyed both dessert options.
The ambiance seems pleasant, with outdoor seating available. Given the positive reviews, especially regarding the food and service, making a reservation is highly recommended. Que Sazon encourages diners to bring friends and try a variety of their offerings. While no specific promotions were mentioned, the focus on high-quality food and exceptional service appears to be a strong draw for local diners looking for an authentic and memorable South American culinary experience in Phoenix.

Stopped by for dinner before the Dbacks vs Brewers game with a few friends. My dining experience here was out of this world. 1st quality food with world class customer service. This place is a real gem. The empanadas were perfectly balanced with flavor. The pork rice bowl was one of the best things I had ever eaten. Incredibly flavorful and so delicious. The tostones and tacos were exceptional. I highly recommend this spot. Also, I recommend getting a reservation. Take a few friends and try a little bit of everything. I look forward to returning..
What a fantastic place. Came here with a party of seven to celebrate a birthday. Sat outside around 6 PM on a Saturday evening. Weather was great, service and food were out of this world. We had both of the appetizers: the fried plantains and the yucca fritas. Both were outstanding. Great flavor and a wonderful chimichurri sauce. We also got a picture of sangria, which was not the best sangria I’ve ever had. I will say. So the drinks that we had were a little disappointing. In addition to the sangria people had Mojitos and a pisco sour. They were all fine, but not really tasty compared to other places that I’ve had. However, hold onto your hat because the food was absolutely incredible. We had the pork Tostones. Out of this world flavor all the way around. Other people had empanadas and the french fries covered in either pork or chicken. There were three ceviche dishes on the menu and we had each one at our table. Best ceviche I have ever had. So fresh, amazing flavor, a hint of heat, but not overpowering at all. Fantastic flavors of coconut, mango and more. We finished our meal with the two dessert options and enjoyed both very much. Will definitely put this place on our regular rotation of dining out.
Everything that we ate was just delicious. Even the rice was amazing, just the right water levels. Pork was not at all dry. Empanadas were just the right crispy. Friendly service. Relaxed ambiance. Total win. Make reservations if you are coming on the weekend. Even on a Thursday we were lucky to get one of the few tables without reservations.
This place is a gem, for sure! We were attending an event downtown and were looking for somewhere to enjoy a drink and some appetizers beforehand. This ended up being a perfect choice!! Their patio is great, the people are super nice and the food was spectacular! Plantains, empanadas and ceviche all hit the spot. Great flavors and our waitress did an awesome job of explaining the menu and helping our experience. The owners really know their stuff and we're already looking forward to coming back here to try even more of their menu. They have beer, wine and fun cocktail options. They have some good happy hour specials, too! Put this place on your list, for sure.
Incredible restaurant- a must go! Julie was amazing and had fantastic recommendations. We ordered the yucca fries, pork empanada (amazing!), steak tacos, and the pork bowl. Their sangria was the perfect level of sweet. The dining area inside was tasteful and really cozy.
