The features of Qiwei Kitchen, based on the limited but enthusiastic reviews, seem to center around the authenticity and flavor of their food, particularly their spicy dishes. One reviewer cautioned against underestimating the spice level, advising to be mindful of ordering "medium spicy" as it can be quite intense, yet "delicious." This suggests that Qiwei Kitchen caters to those who enjoy a significant level of heat in their food, a hallmark of certain regional Chinese cuisines, such as Sichuan. Another reviewer specifically highlighted the "dry pot" as exceeding their expectations. They ordered the mild spicy flavor with beef shank and found the meat to be "so tender and juicy." A strong recommendation was made to add "Dried Tofu Skin" to the pot, describing it as bursting with flavor. This points to the dry pot as a signature or highly recommended dish at Qiwei Kitchen, offering a customizable and flavorful experience.

In addition to the dry pot, the reviewer also praised the "lamb skewers," describing them as "juicy little morsels." This indicates that Qiwei Kitchen offers a variety of dishes beyond just the dry pot, including skewered meats, which are popular in many parts of China. The reviewer expressed a strong intention to return to try other dishes and flavors, suggesting a positive overall impression of the food quality and variety at Qiwei Kitchen.

Based on these initial positive reviews focusing on the authenticity and flavor, particularly the spicy options, the dry pot, and the lamb skewers, Qiwei Kitchen appears to be a place that prides itself on delivering genuine regional Chinese cuisine. Came across this Chinese neighborhood by chance. Well of course, didn't miss the opportunity to try the local authentic food. Never take medium spicy in such places. It's very spicy. But so of course, it's delicious.

Just tried dry pot for the first time and it definitely met my expectations! We ordered the Mild level spicy flavor with beef shank. The meat was so tender and juicy. Highly recommend adding the Dried Tofu Skin to your pot (it bursts with flavor!!). Also got the lamb skewers and they were juicy little morsels! Definitely will come back again to try their other dishes and flavors!

First time trying this place out, and it was great! This is a dry hot pot, and it is different from regular hot pot. We have our server explained the process of ordering the pot, and you can also add on additional sides for extra money. A bowl of rice is $1.99 at this time of review. Small orders are good for two people to share. We ordered the medium size, and it's more like for four people, but we pack the leftover home. The server was great, and she packed our leftover.

The go to dry pot place in LA! There are many protein and add-on selections. My favorites are beef and short ribs. The classic spicy flavor is the best. The portion is so big that we can never finish. They even have dry hot noddle! So good!
