About Qin's Garden

Located at 435 Spadina Ave. in Toronto, Qin's Garden is a Chinese restaurant that has garnered positive attention for its inviting atmosphere and diverse menu. The decor is described as charming, clean, fresh, warm, and welcoming, contributing to a pleasant dining environment with a casual vibe.

The service at Qin's Garden is consistently highlighted as super prompt, ensuring an easy and enjoyable experience for diners. This efficiency makes it a great option for both dine-in and potentially quick takeaway.

Qin's Garden gained popularity, particularly on Instagram, for its soup dumplings, which are noted for being the largest in Toronto. However, opinions on their flavor are mixed, with one reviewer suggesting that while large, they might not be the best in terms of taste. This reviewer recommends trying them if size is a priority but otherwise suggests exploring the rest of the menu.

The non-soup dumplings, noodle dishes, and rice dishes receive high praise, being described as standouts with well-balanced flavors and textures, generous portions, and bold tastes. One customer even mentioned having one of the best fried rice they've ever had. The extensive menu indicates a wide variety of options available for exploration, encouraging repeat visits.

Overall, Qin's Garden is recommended for its delicious food (beyond the soup dumplings for some), beautiful atmosphere, and friendly service. If you're looking for a Chinese restaurant in the Spadina area with a charming ambiance and a broad menu of well-regarded dishes, Qin's Garden is a strong contender.

Qin’s Garden is a fantastic find! The decor is charming—clean and fresh while still feeling warm and welcoming. It has a casual vibe, and the service is super prompt, which makes for an easy and enjoyable dining experience. I was drawn here after seeing it all over Instagram, especially for the soup dumplings. While they were definitely the largest I’ve had in Toronto, they weren’t the best in terms of flavor. That said, the rest of the meal was excellent. The non-soup dumplings, noodle dishes, and rice dishes were all standouts—well-balanced in both flavors and textures, with generous portions and bold flavors. The extensive menu means there’s plenty more to explore, and I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes. If you’re coming for the soup dumplings, they’re worth a try if you prioritize size over taste, but otherwise, skip them and dive into the rest of the menu.

Amazing restaurant. Went there for dinner, and the soup dumplings were delicious, same with the pan fried dumplings, and had one of the best fried rice I’ve ever had. Food wise, it was extremely good. The restaurant atmosphere did not disappoint as well, it was beautiful, and the environment was great. The server was nice and friendly. Overall would highly recommend the restaurant, 10/10!

The soup dumplings were very juicy and flavourful, and the pan fried buns are very good aswell. Overall a great experience but the quantity of food leaves me wanting more.

Delicious ! The crab roe dumplings, pan-fried buns, and siu mai were all outstanding. The vintage-style bowl for the wontons is interesting. The mouth-watering chicken was slightly milder than in traditional Sichuan restaurants, but overall, a great experience. Highly recommended!

Their soup dumplings and pan fried bao are the best! Ribs were a bit too sweet for me but still very tasty. Overall atmosphere is good and food is decently good.
