The hot pot at Qiao Lin Hotpot is hands down the best I’ve had yet! The experience was so much fun, but I’d highly recommend bringing someone who’s familiar with hot pot if it’s your first time—the menu can feel a little overwhelming at first. One of the highlights for me was the sauce bar, where you can customize your own dipping sauce to match your taste—it really adds to the experience. They also had a great selection of desserts, which was a nice bonus. As for the food itself, everything was so fresh and delicious. I especially enjoyed the beef, shrimp, and mushrooms—they were absolute standouts. If you’re looking for a flavorful and interactive dining experience, Qiao Lin Hotpot is a must-try. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

We celebrated my daughter’s 10th birthday we had Mike as our server! The atmosphere vibe was top tier! The food is delicious and Mike gave us A1 service. 10/10 Mikes Sauce he customized an brung to our table was soo delicious! Omg if you’re in Chicago in streeterville a must try!! Very family friendly! My kids also have food allergies and they even catered to that.

I took off one star because the wait time can get ridiculous. However, you can’t really see how long the wait is since it depends on how much other people eat. Otherwise, the food is pretty good. I always do one mild and one spicy broth. For people unfamiliar to this, just order the popular items. Yes you will have to cook it yourself. For the price and what you get, the quality is exceptional. Free parking. It’s not in Chinatown but a short drive or Uber ride.

My partner and I really enjoyed ourselves. This place was pretty affordable. The servers were wonderful at giving order suggestions for my partner who had never tried hotpot before. Alex, our server was kind and attentive. There is another server who followed up with us towards the end of our meal (I’m sorry I forgot their name!) and they noticed we loved the broth, and made sure we took some of that home. We will be back!
