Welcome to Qianxun Kabab Bar 喝丢一只鞋, a Chinese restaurant located at 34787 Ardenwood Terrace, Fremont, CA 94555, USA. Categorized as a Chinese Restaurant, Qianxun Kabab Bar 喝丢一只鞋 appears to specialize in kababs or skewers, a popular style of cuisine in various parts of China. For local users in Fremont seeking a Chinese restaurant that offers skewers, Qianxun Kabab Bar 喝丢一只鞋 is an option to consider. However, it is crucial to examine recent customer reviews to gain an understanding of the dining experience that awaits. The feedback available online raises significant concerns regarding service, wait times, and overall customer satisfaction.
One customer recounted a severely negative experience during their visit. Despite having a reservation for three people at 6:30 pm, they were not seated until a full hour later, at 7:30 pm. Once seated, they reported a further 30-minute wait before receiving utensils or water. The food service was described as exceptionally slow, with the first plate, a cold vegetable dish that required no cooking, not arriving until 8:00 pm, and only after multiple follow-ups. The first skewer dish finally arrived an additional hour later. The server's response to inquiries about the delayed food was reportedly unapologetic, with the customer being told that such slow service was to be expected for Chinese skewers in the Bay Area on weekends. This directly contradicts the reviewer's experience at other skewer establishments, which were not this slow. Ultimately, the customer's party ran out of patience and left at 9:30 pm, after spending three hours at the restaurant and canceling the remainder of their order, which had not even begun to be cooked. They left the restaurant hungry and had to resort to eating at McDonald's. The reviewer also described the taste of the food they did receive as "very meh" and found the restaurant to be "quite pricey," leading to a strong recommendation against visiting, suggesting that there are "plenty of far better options" for skewers in the Bay Area.
Another customer echoed concerns about the service, stating that it was "very bad." They also pointed out a lack of public information indicating that the restaurant operates on a "reserved ONLY" basis and does not accept walk-ins. This lack of clear communication could lead to further frustration for potential customers who arrive without a reservation.
Based on these two reviews, the primary feature that stands out about Qianxun Kabab Bar 喝丢一只鞋 is its specialization in Chinese skewers. Skewers, or "chuan," are a popular street food and restaurant offering in China, featuring various meats, seafood, vegetables, and other items grilled or roasted on skewers, often seasoned with a blend of spices, including cumin and chili powder. The concept itself can be appealing to those looking for a casual and flavorful dining experience.
However, the reported services and environment appear to be significant areas of concern. The first review details extremely long wait times for seating, initial service (utensils, water), and food arrival, suggesting severe issues with the restaurant's operational efficiency, particularly on weekends. The unapologetic attitude of the server when confronted about these delays is also a major red flag regarding customer service. The second review highlights a lack of transparency regarding a potential reservation-only policy, which could inconvenience walk-in customers.
The environment of Qianxun Kabab Bar 喝丢一只鞋 can be inferred to be such that it does not compensate for the poor service and long wait times. The first reviewer, despite the negative experience, did not comment on the ambiance, suggesting it was likely unremarkable or overshadowed by the service issues. The second review does not mention the environment at all.
In terms of promotional information, there is none available in the provided reviews. Given the serious concerns raised about the fundamental aspects of the dining experience (service, wait times, food quality relative to price), it is unlikely that any promotions would outweigh these issues for potential customers.
The lack of positive feedback regarding the food itself is also noteworthy. The first reviewer described the taste as "very meh," even for a simple cold vegetable dish, and found the restaurant to be pricey. This suggests that even when the food eventually arrives, it may not be of a quality that justifies the long wait or the cost.
Considering the information available, Qianxun Kabab Bar 喝丢一只鞋 in Fremont specializes in Chinese skewers. However, potential customers should be aware of the significant negative feedback regarding extremely slow service, long wait times for seating and food, a lack of transparency about reservation policies, and food quality that was described as mediocre and overpriced. The environment is not described positively, and no promotional information is available.
For local users in Fremont seeking a Chinese skewer experience, it would be prudent to take the strong negative reviews into serious consideration. The first reviewer explicitly recommended against this restaurant and suggested exploring other options in the Bay Area, based on their significantly better experiences elsewhere. The issues reported are fundamental to a positive dining experience, and until there is evidence of improvement in service and efficiency, potential customers might want to exercise caution or explore alternative establishments for Chinese skewers in the Fremont area.
In conclusion, while Qianxun Kabab Bar 喝丢一只鞋 offers Chinese skewers, the overwhelming negative feedback concerning service, wait times, food quality, and pricing raises significant concerns for potential diners. Local users are advised to weigh these factors carefully before deciding to visit and perhaps consider alternative Chinese restaurants specializing in skewers in the Bay Area that have received more positive reviews regarding their overall dining experience.

Customer Reviews
Had a terrible experience at this restaurant. We made a reservation for 3 people at 6:30pm, and we did not get seated until 7:30. After we got seated, there was no utensil or water until after 30 min. The food took forever to arrive. The first plate of the food that finally arrived was some cold veggie dishes that doesn’t even require cooking, and it wasn’t here until 8pm and we had to follow up several times for the food. The first skewer dish finally got here after another hour. And the server was very unapologetic when we asked about when the food will arrive. She basically told us that if you want to have Chinese skewer in the Bay Area on weekend, this is the speed you should expect. But none of the other skewer places we’ve been to were this slow. We eventually ran out of patience and left at 9:30 (3 hours in), and we canceled the rest of our order as they still haven’t started cooking it. We left with an empty stomach and had to go to McDonald’s to feed ourselves. The taste of the food was very meh, and it’s quite pricey as well. Would not recommend this place to anyone. If you want skewer, there are plenty of far better options in the Bay Area
The service is very bad. There is no public information indicating the restaurant is reserved ONLY and NO walk in!
My favorite raw skewers are really delicious and tasty hahaha There is so much delicious food that I can’t stop eating it several times. The Northeast lady is so warm and hospitable. I feel like I’m back at home.
Raw skewers, cold noodles, and Northeastern old-fashioned Malatang are all delicious. The boss and his wife are very enthusiastic.
The kebabs are extremely delicious, but the business is so good that the boss is too busy
