Priya's Kitchen Westmont

A small restaurant with very little space to dine. You rate better off with a takeout as they charge you a service fee for eating there The food is tasty. We had dahi puri (chaat) but they luckily did not charge a service fee for that. There is ample parking and service is fast. We also took a takeout of the gobi Manchurian, veg biryani, and chicken lollipop which were all good. They also gave prepared curries on the service counter. There is an Indian grocery nearby where you can also stop by to buy grocery and some prepared curries. (Don’t know if these curries are from priya Westmont) Good customer service except for that service fee 😌

I like here the samusa chat and used to go for samusa and daal vada. Also tried some of the other menu. Stuffs are Friendly and the owner also nice. They cherge extra service fee for dining In.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Priya's Kitchen in Westmont. The food was incredibly delicious and flavorful. We ate a variety of dishes including Mysore masala dosa, Chole bhature, vada, samosa chat, and tea, and every item exceeded our expectations in taste. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

Priya's kitchen in Westmont is my favorite place for SPICY Chicken Biryani. I have to emphasize that I love the spices it's cooked with, topped with freshly chopped chillies and onions. It comes with a side sauce and rayta ( excuse the spelling - it's flavored yogurt that neutralizes the flavors ). The flavors are rich, the portion is big, the chopped chicken is very generous (amount). Since its a kitchen (not restaurant), has few tables, its more of a takeaway place so dont expect 5 star setup, that is not gold trim dishes nor silver spoons ( things I dont care for, as am there for the flavor, yet in case you do care ask them for their restaurant location, or order to go and use your golden dishes ;) The staff is very gentle, yet very busy handing out food ordered or picking up orders over the phone ( hats up, I salute their patience and appreciate the work they do). If you are looking for a Rich, No-compromise Quality dish, Priya's is the place to go!

Walked in to a person chatting on phone and two tables on the side door dine in. I wondered what is on the menu and decided with my buddies we each try some dish since this is new. We asked for chicken biriyani and said leave spices on the side but that was not doable the front desk lady said. And she said your cannot share dishes or that will cost extra. And another ten percent extra if you eat in, because it involves utensils and dishes, which we also accepted. Well all was plastic and the dishes were those thin white styrofoam. I ordered butter chicken and it came as a soup, I asked for rice they said that is extra, and the story goes on with the other order. Summary we ended up walking out twenty dollars per dish and walked to canes chicken to complete our meal. For that price per dish and service I expected much better. The taste was ok, but ordering was like being at a deli ordering a plate and eating it at home. Eat in is not recommended especially that they do not even offer you water, you need to buy that as well.
