Poughkeepsie Steakhouse

The food was amazing. The waitresses and waiters and the manager were amazing. I would definitely come back here again. The atmosphere is very very Calming I will be sure to tell my family and friends to come here to enjoy an amazing dinner. Thank you again.

I had my son’s communion party at the Poughkeepsie steakhouse a few months ago and they did a phenomenal job. Kaeleigh and Rick were our servers and did amazing! Kaeleigh and the bartender Sarah even helped me setup with decorations before guests arrived. The food was so great and everyone had a wonderful time. We had so many leftovers as we did a buffet, and lots of our guests left with extra food to take home. Thanks again Bob and the Poughkeepsie steakhouse for helping us make such a special day even more special.

Great local bar for good bar food. Friendly service. I’ve been there twice for dinner. Had a bad porterhouse, tough. Everyone else had a good dinner. I should’ve complained but I didn’t. I will try again in fairness to the restaurant.

We have been here in the past for a nice dinner and good food. But not tonight. Will never go back on New Year’s Eve or any holiday. Had a 7:00 reservation for 2 and did not get seated until almost 7:45. Did not get waited on for another 20 mins. They were out of filet, which was a disappointment. Appetizer didn’t come for another half hour, at which point they told us there was also no more prime rib. Chose something else. Finally got main meals at 9:00. We were squished so close to the table behind us that they couldn’t move or get out without me getting up out of my chair. Place was overcrowded and loud. Ended up ordering dessert to go because we just wanted to leave. Even that took awhile. And to top off the night, when we got home it was the wrong dessert. Happy New Year! Won’t be going back for awhile. Interesting to me that they only respond to the 5 star reviews.

I love Poughkeepsie Steakhouse we went on NYE and it was pretty jammed packed ! We made a reservation and last time I was there I had the best waitress Jenna so I asked if she could be our server and THANK GOD. She is the best! I didn’t know exactly what steak I wanted but she steered me in the right direction and it was DELISH. I highly recommend the T-Bone ! We got Bang bang shrimp which was so so good ! Oh and this peanut butter mousse dessert was amazinggg. Jenna was super attentive to my table and catered to whatever we needed- I got freaked out about ordering my steak medium and she must have seen my face looking at her and she came right over to put my new order in. She just reads the room. So if you go to Poughkeepsie steakhouse get the TBONE , and ask for Jenna as your server she rocks !!!
