About Pot&Wok Asian fusion 微燻创意料理
Welcome to Pot&Wok Asian fusion 微燻创意料理, a brand new addition to the Chinese Restaurant category in Rowland Heights, California. Having just opened its doors a mere three days prior to the latest review, Pot&Wok presents a fresh and exciting dining concept to local users. This restaurant distinguishes itself by offering a unique fusion of culinary styles, extending beyond traditional Chinese fare to include American, Asian, Italian, and vegetarian options, promising a diverse menu to cater to a wide range of palates.
The concept of Asian fusion implies a creative blending of different Asian culinary traditions, often incorporating Western elements to create innovative and unexpected dishes. Pot&Wok seems to embrace this fully, as evidenced by the variety of cuisines mentioned in the initial customer feedback. This approach allows diners to explore a multitude of flavors and textures in a single dining experience, making it an intriguing option for those seeking something beyond the ordinary.
Based on the early reviews, Pot&Wok has already begun to make a positive impression. One enthusiastic customer provided a detailed ranking of several dishes they sampled, offering valuable insights into the restaurant's strengths. Topping their list with an "A+" grade is the creamy ma la seafood fettuccine. This dish exemplifies the fusion concept, combining Italian pasta with the spicy and numbing "ma la" flavor profile typically found in Sichuan cuisine. The reviewer praised the dish for its mild spiciness, which is also customizable to individual preferences, with options for non-spicy or extra spicy versions available upon request. The seafood components, including crispy and juicy shrimp, succulent mussels, and tender calamari, were cooked to perfection, as was the fettuccine, described as perfectly al dente. The sauce was so exceptional that the reviewer admitted to cleaning the plate entirely, a strong testament to its quality.
Another standout item, also receiving an "A+" grade, is the taro mochi pie, which was a "lucky slice of the day." This dessert showcases a harmonious blend of taro, mochi, and a crunchy crust, with the sweetness of the taro being well-balanced and the mochi exhibiting a delightful combination of softness and firmness. The only drawback mentioned was the small portion size, suggesting that while the taste is exceptional, diners might desire a larger serving.
The USese sausage fried rice received a "B" overall. The USese sausage itself was rated a "B+" for its taste, but the reviewer noted that the portion size was small, with only one piece included. The sunny-side-up egg accompanying the dish earned a perfect "A" for its crispy exterior and soft, bright yolk. However, the fried rice component received a "C+" due to being too wet, although the seasoning was appreciated. This detailed feedback indicates that while some elements of a dish might be excellent, others might need refinement.
Pot&Wok also offers unique beverages, such as the elderflower cold brew, which received a "B+" grade. The reviewer highly recommended this drink, noting its uniqueness and expressing a desire for it to be more sweet and floral to achieve an "A" rating. The Earl Grey milk brew was initially rated a "B-" due to excessive ice, but the reviewer noted that the female staff member in charge of drinks and desserts promptly adjusted it to their satisfaction, highlighting a willingness to address customer concerns and ensure a positive experience.
Beyond these specific dishes, another customer enthusiastically praised the "rainbow chicken" as "extremely good." This positive feedback, coupled with the attentive service from the host, suggests that Pot&Wok is committed to both the quality of its food and the overall dining experience. An intriguing detail shared by the staff was that their chicken is sourced directly from a farm and consists only of female chickens that have never laid eggs, emphasizing a focus on the quality and texture of their poultry. This dedication to sourcing high-quality ingredients is a notable feature that sets Pot&Wok apart.
Given that Pot&Wok is a brand new establishment, it is still in its early stages of operation. The initial reviews indicate a promising start, with several dishes receiving high praise for their flavor and execution. The willingness of the staff to accommodate customer preferences, as seen with the spice level of the fettuccine and the adjustment of the milk brew, suggests a commitment to customer satisfaction. The diverse menu, spanning various Asian and Western influences, positions Pot&Wok as a restaurant with the potential to attract a broad clientele in the Rowland Heights area.

Pot & Wok is a brand NEW restaurant just 3 days YOUNG! I like this restaurant because it offers variety of food. American Asian, Italian, and vegetarian. Let's rank from best to ok 1. Creamy ma la seafood fettuccine Taste Grade = A+ It's mild spicy. It is just right for me. However, you can even ask the chef to give you the non-spicy version or MORE spicy! The seafood and pasta both cook to PERFECTION! The shrimp is crispy and juicy, the mussel is succulent, and the calamari is tender. The fettuccine is PERFECT = soft on the outside and hard in the middle. The sauce is FANTASTIC! (I licked the plate CLEAN ;P) 2. Taro mochi pie (one lucky slice of the day) Taste Grade = A+ Taro, mochi, and crust all match PERFECTLY. Taro is not too sweet, mochi is soft and firm at the same time, and the crust is crunchy. The only thing is the size is too small. 3. Taiwanese sausage fried rice. Taste Grade = B overall Taiwanese sausage Taste Grade = B+ But too bad only 1 small portion. Sunny side up egg Taste Grade = A Crispy on the outside, soft and bright on the inside. Fried rice Taste Grade = C+ Unfortunately, the rice is too wet but the seasoning is great. 4. Elderflower cold brew Taste Grade = B+ This is an UNIQUE drink that I do not find anywhere else! I highly recommend it! However, I hope it can be more sweet and flowery so it will be an A. 5. Earl Grey milk brew Taste Grade = B- The 1st time it has too much ice, but after I tell the female staff, who is in charge of drink and dessert, she quickly adjust it and make it better. We will be back again VERY SOON and bring all my friends and family.
The rainbow chicken was extremely good. The host was really attentive. When we commend on the flavor and texture of the chicken, they told us that their chicken was directly from the farm with only female chicken that never laid eggs. Very impressive! Will definitely come again!
The prices are on the higher side, and the food has a homemade style. There is a clear shortage of staff during peak hours, but the waiters made a great effort to provide good service despite the shortage.
Great dining experience with good food and nice service. Definitely we will come back soon!
The chicken and cauliflower were good. And the service was good as well. Recommended.
