About PJK Neighborhood Chinese Restaurant - Coconut Point

PJK Neighborhood Chinese Restaurant, located at 23151 Village Shops Way #109 in Estero, within Coconut Point, offers a contemporary take on Chinese cuisine. While categorized as a Chinese Restaurant, PJK aims to provide a more upscale dining experience with a cool and stylish yet welcoming atmosphere, suitable for both casual and slightly more dressed-up occasions.

According to one enthusiastic review, the restaurant stands out for its "next level" food, which takes Chinese-inspired dishes and infuses them with unique twists using fresh, local ingredients. Seafood enthusiasts can expect creative options that blend familiarity with innovation. The cocktails are also highly recommended, described as thoughtful, flavorful, and providing a pleasant buzz.

The staff at PJK is noted for being friendly and knowledgeable, readily offering menu guidance and suggestions. This contributes to the overall positive and welcoming service experience.

However, another customer who recently tried the restaurant reported a different experience with some of the chicken dishes, finding both the General Tso and Sweet and Sour chicken to be bland and lacking in sauce. They were also surprised by the absence of Sesame Chicken on the menu. On a more positive note, other family members enjoyed the Orange beef and Mongolian beef, describing them as outstanding. This reviewer also pointed out that the rice portions for all dishes were quite small and that the prices are on the higher side, aligning with the restaurant's positioning as a non-traditional Chinese dining establishment.

Despite the mixed feedback on specific dishes, the overall sentiment from one reviewer suggests a willingness to return for a more upscale dining experience with friends in the Coconut Point area, even while acknowledging that sometimes a craving for "good old traditional Chinese food" might lead elsewhere.

PJK Neighborhood Chinese Restaurant appears to be carving out a niche for a modern and potentially more refined Chinese-inspired dining experience in Coconut Point, with a focus on atmosphere, creative dishes (particularly seafood and certain beef options), and cocktails. PJK Neighborhood Chinese is the place to be! The moment you step inside, the atmosphere hits you—cool, stylish, but still super welcoming. It’s the kind of place you can dress up for or just show up casually and still feel right at home. The food? Next level. They take Chinese-inspired dishes and give them a unique twist, using fresh, local ingredients that really shine. If you’re into seafood, you’re in for a treat—so many creative options that feel both familiar and exciting. And the cocktails? Absolutely worth it. They’re just as thoughtful as the food, with tons of flavor and a nice buzz to match. The staff is super friendly and know their stuff. They’re more than happy to walk you through the menu or suggest something you might not have thought to try. All in all, PJK has nailed it. Whether you’re out for a date, grabbing dinner with friends, or just want an amazing meal, it’s a spot you’ll keep coming back to. Definitely a must-visit!

Finally tried this place after it opened. The two Chicken dishes we ordered were bland. Expected more from the General Tso and the Sweet and Sour. Both were not very saucy. Was surprised to not see Sesame Chicken on the menu but after having two other bland chicken dishes it probably would of tasted the same. Our Our other family members had the Orange beef and Mongolian beef. Both were outstanding. Rice portions are all four dishes were very very small. The rice portion would fit in a usual Chinese tea cup. Prices are on the higher side but again this wasn't your normal Chinese restaurant or take out place. Yes, I would come back if in Coconut Point with friends and looking for a more upscale dining experience. Sometimes you just want good old traditional Chinese food.

If you’re looking for a hidden gem in the neighborhood, PJK Neighborhood Chinese Restaurant is an absolute must-try! From the moment you walk in, the cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff set the perfect tone for a fantastic meal. The menu offers a delicious array of authentic Chinese dishes, with each bite bursting with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Their signature dishes, like the Mongolian beef and dumplings, are out of this world – tender, savory, and perfectly balanced. Service is top-notch, with friendly staff always eager to ensure you have a great dining experience. I also love the attention to details from the fun decor to the beautifully crafted cocktails. Highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious, authentic Chinese food with a personal touch!

We visited the restaurant on day 3 of opening, it was amazing! We have visited the Naples location before but this one was more vibrant, the service was fast, and the food was extremely fresh. The service was great and the restaurant was bigger than the Naples location as well. Both are great, don’t get me wrong, but this new one is a step above! It’s an elegant setting for Chinese style American food, think classics like Genera Tso but also twists like Peking duck rice and grouper bao. The menu can please picky eaters like my family, but also gastronomy hobbyists like myself. My family was pleased with the General Tso and Mongolian Beef, we loved the tropical fruit salad, it was super fresh, and even the “dirty rice” which is fried in duck fat (better alternative to seed oil)!! I had the sea bass which is always good, it tastes really fresh and is crispy, with a lightly spicy sauce. The restaurant was very clean and even without a reservation we only waited a few minutes. Definitely visit this new location in Coconut Point.

First time here, since it just opened, they just need to iron out a couple of things but definitely I can see how great it can be as long as they continue hiring the right people. Our server Christian was very impressionable and he definitely set the vibe that made us enjoy the ambiance that the place had even more. Their welcome drink pea flower tea was poured with a slight bit of intro from Christian. We ordered the tuna poke and the peking duck. Tuna poke was delicious and the lotus chips were crisped and seasoned perfectly. Peking duck was $59 BUT definitely worth the price. It isn’t the traditional peking duck but it had its own charm. It was served sliced for the breast and I loved how they separated the skin from the breast to make sure it doesn’t overcook/undercook the meat while they crisp the duck skin. The thigh and leg were intact and the fat from the duck itself kept it juicy and moist. The duck was seasoned well and was served with dirty fried rice and fried scallion pancakes. I never tried it with fried scallion pancakes and I didn’t hate it. Would love it with steamed scallion pancakes though since the duck is already rich and hearty. It was overall a really pleasant experience and we will definitely be back😊
