When choosing a local Chinese restaurant, factors such as food quality, portion sizes, value for money, and the overall dining experience are often important considerations for customers. Recent reviews for Ping's Hibachi offer valuable insights into these aspects. One customer described the food as "pretty good" and highlighted the "very big" portion sizes. They specifically mentioned the coconut shrimp combo, noting that even the combo order was substantial. The full order of orange chicken was described as being enough for "4-5 meals," emphasizing the generous quantity. The crab rangoons were rated as "great," although the absence of sweet and sour sauce was noted as a minor disappointment. The egg rolls were considered "good" but with a suggestion for improvement, namely "less wrapper and more filling." Lastly, the "crazy roll" was also reported to be good.

Another reviewer advised not to be deterred by the exterior appearance, which they described as "a little dingy." They emphasized that "don't let appearances fool you" as "The food and service is amazing for a great price." This customer, along with their mother who has a smaller appetite, found the combo portion to be sufficient to satisfy "a teenage boy in the middle of a growth spurt," highlighting the substantial servings. They also noted the affordable price point of around $11 for such a large combo. An interesting observation was that "Everything is served in to-go containers," which they found a "little surprising" but ultimately convenient for taking leftovers home.

Based on these reviews, Ping's Hibachi appears to be a Chinese restaurant that offers good quality food in very generous portions at a great price. The service is also highlighted as "amazing," contributing to a positive customer experience. The unusual practice of serving all food in to-go containers, regardless of whether it's eaten on-site or taken away, is a notable characteristic that adds to the convenience of handling leftovers.

While the name includes "Hibachi," the detailed feedback from customers focuses on standard Chinese-American dishes and a sushi roll ("crazy roll"). This suggests that while "Hibachi" might be part of their name, their current offerings, at least based on these reviews, lean more towards traditional Chinese cuisine with some potential Japanese influences. As a Chinese restaurant, Ping's Hibachi likely offers a variety of popular dishes such as fried rice, lo mein, a range of chicken, beef, and seafood entrees with different sauces and vegetable combinations, as well as appetizers like egg rolls and crab rangoons, and soups.

The environment of Ping's Hibachi is described indirectly by one reviewer who mentioned the exterior looking "a little dingy" but urged customers not to be misled by this, as the food and service were excellent. This suggests that while the external appearance might not be the restaurant's strongest point, the interior and the overall dining experience are where they excel. The fact that food is served in to-go containers might also imply a more casual or efficient setup, prioritizing the quality and quantity of food and the speed of service.

The service at Ping's Hibachi is praised as "amazing" by one customer and "very big" portion sizes might also be considered a form of service or value provided to the customer. The friendly and efficient service likely contributes to the positive dining experiences reported. The willingness of customers to overlook the exterior appearance due to the quality of food and service speaks volumes about the positive aspects of their offering.

Features of Ping's Hibachi, based on the reviews, include the very generous portion sizes, which offer excellent value for money. The food quality is generally rated as good, with specific mentions of the coconut shrimp, orange chicken, crab rangoons, and crazy roll being enjoyable. The service is highlighted as "amazing." The unique practice of serving all food in to-go containers for easy takeaway of leftovers is another distinctive feature. The menu seems to include a mix of Chinese-American staples and potentially some Japanese-inspired items like sushi rolls.

Food was pretty good, portion sizes were very big. In the photos the coconut shrimp order is the combo. The orange chicken is a full and it’s enough for 4-5 meals! Crab Rangoon’s are were great, didn’t come with sweet and sour sauce so that was a bummer. The egg rolls were good BUT needed less wrapper and more filling. The crazy roll was good too!

It looks a little dingy on the outside but don't let appearances fool you. The food and service is amazing for a great price. My mom and I don't have very big appetites, but their combo portion is good enough to satisfy a teenage boy in the middle of a growth spurt. And it only cost around $11. Everything is served in to-go containers, a little surprising but it makes it easy to take everything home if you don't finish.

Just ordered five meals tonight. Picked up and got home to find that 3 of them were incorrect. Called back and was told we were wrong. Ate the food and it was terrible, lacked flavor. We will take our business elsewhere knowing it will cost more. The did just call back and offer to remake one, but after tasting we have declined.

The service was amazing, the food was hot, taste great and reasonably priced. I would recommend this place for anyone wanting good, reasonably priced Chinese cuisine. The only draw back is during busy times there may be a wait as seating is pretty limited. Establishment is clean and well kept but not fancy and small in that it only seats about 30 total for dine in!! Pleasant, pleasing, tasty experience at a great price!!!
