Ping On Restaurant

It’s rare that I’ll take the time to write a review on a restaurant, especially a bad one. But this is the worst Chinese restaurant I’ve have been to. And I love Chinese food. My latest order was supposed to be chicken lo mein. Instead it was more like they heated up a can of campbells chicken noodle soup and dumped it into a container. We I say it’s trash, I literally dumped it in the trash after 2 bites. PLEASE do not waste your money.

Ive never had food this bad from here! Hot and Sour soup was tasteless! Almond Chicken was overcooked and all dryed out! No almonds Bye Ping On you’ve slipped! Wont be back

The food used to be perfect every time I ordered. The last few times, however, it has been either perfect or great. I do not know what's changed in the last few years but I am hoping they get back to where they used to be. I still recommend.

Years ago this was the go to spot. The quality of the food was the best. Literally the best. The portions were so large that you couldn't close the take out containers. I used to go around bragging to everyone I knew. Now I tell ppl to stay away from there. The food is being made with hate.

If I was basing this review purely on the food, I'd give Ping On a solid 4... However I do have to also include the service. My experience there has quite honestly been good, however I cannot ignore how slow the service can be. Understandably, there is usually only one person who both takes orders and cooks the food. I appreciate how hard and diligently this worker works, but only one person in the establishment slows down the service by a lot. This also causes a bit of an attitude problem that I have witnessed being displayed on other customers. Other things can attribute to this particular problem, such as the little boy I saw go in to the restaurant and try to trick the worker into believing that he had already paid for the food. This can aggravate anyone, and shame on the parents of said boy if he was ordered by them to do such a thing. However, this was a problem with the boy and not the door dash driver who was only looking to pick up his order and didn't need the attitude displayed by the employee. Like I said, the food is good and I will continue to support the restaurant, just some minor issues to really address before getting a better review.
