About Pick Up Stix Fresh Asian Flavors

Welcome to Pick Up Stix Fresh Asian Flavors, a Chinese restaurant located at 2761 Agoura Rd in Westlake Village, California. As a local establishment in the Chinese restaurant category, Pick Up Stix aims to provide a variety of Asian-inspired dishes to the community. While specific details about the restaurant's ambiance are not extensively available from the provided reviews, restaurants like Pick Up Stix often offer a casual and convenient setting for both dine-in and takeout customers. To gain a better understanding of the environment, we recommend visiting the location directly.

Based on the limited customer feedback available, Pick Up Stix offers both takeout and potentially dine-in services. One review mentions ordering an entrée, suggesting the availability of individual meals. For specific service options, including whether dine-in is currently available and the process for placing takeout orders, it is advisable to contact the restaurant directly at (818) 706-1927 or their mobile number +1 818-706-1927.

One of the key features highlighted in the customer reviews is the discrepancy between the perceived portion size based on the menu presentation and the actual portion received. A customer who ordered the grilled salmon entrée expressed surprise at the small size of the portion, noting that it felt more like a side dish than a main meal, despite the menu photo suggesting otherwise. This suggests a potential issue with portion consistency or the accuracy of menu depictions.

On a more positive note, the same customer who experienced the small portion size did mention that the taste of the grilled salmon was "good." This indicates that while there might be concerns regarding quantity, the flavor of at least one of the dishes is appreciated. The customer also acknowledged and appreciated the restaurant's willingness to provide a refund for the unsatisfactory portion size, which speaks to their customer service in addressing complaints.

However, another customer review presents a significantly negative experience. This reviewer strongly advises others to "go somewhere else," citing concerns about food quality that allegedly resulted in "stomach aches and diarrhea." The severity of this feedback is emphasized by the reviewer stating they would not return even if offered a gift card. They further described the food as being so unappetizing that even a homeless person and their dog refused to eat it, ultimately leading to it being discarded in a mulch pile. This review raises serious concerns about the quality and palatability of the food experienced by at least one customer.

Given the stark contrast between the two provided reviews, it is challenging to form a comprehensive and objective assessment of the overall food quality and service at Pick Up Stix based solely on this limited information. While one customer found the taste of the grilled salmon to be good and appreciated the refund for a small portion, the other customer reported a severely negative experience with the food leading to illness and widespread rejection of the leftovers.

Currently, there is no information available regarding specific promotions or special offers at Pick Up Stix Fresh Asian Flavors in Westlake Village based on these reviews. Chinese restaurants often have lunch specials, family meal deals, or discounts on certain days. To inquire about any current promotions or special offers, it is recommended to contact the restaurant directly at the provided phone numbers.

In conclusion, Pick Up Stix Fresh Asian Flavors in Westlake Village is a Chinese restaurant offering Asian-inspired cuisine with takeout and potentially dine-in services. Customer experiences appear to be mixed, with one customer noting a discrepancy in portion size compared to the menu but praising the taste of the grilled salmon and the restaurant's refund policy. Conversely, another customer reported a severely negative experience with the food quality. Due to these contrasting reviews and the limited information available, potential customers may want to consider these points and perhaps seek more recent feedback or directly inquire with the restaurant about their current food quality and portion sizes before making a decision. For information on the menu and any ongoing promotions, contacting Pick Up Stix directly is advised.

Ordered the grilled salmon entrée and was shocked by how small the portion was compared to the menu photo. The taste was good, but it felt more like a side than a meal. Called the restaurant, and they agreed to refund me, which I appreciate. Just a heads-up if you’re expecting a full-sized portion!

Go somewhere else unless you value stomach aches and diarrhea. I would not even accept a gift card to come back if they offered. We ate 3 bites and then bagged up the the rest. Even a homeless dude in the parking lot turned it down, as did my dog when i got home. Putting it out back in the mulch pile. Let's see if the ants have a desire for it.

I was a little worried since this place had moved since I had last been, but I'm glad I found it again because the food's just as good as I remember. With the cream cheese wontons especially, I haven't been able to find better, and not for lack of trying. Definitely recommend this location!

Such wonderful fresh food! I am so pleasantly surprised, it felt like a 5-star Chinese restaurant. My mom and I both got the Mongolian beef with white rice and it was so delicious and filling. They had wonderful drink options, and I was so happy they had pebble ice. And they had chocolate covered fortune cookies too! Highly recommend!

This has got to be the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. I ordered the Family Pack for my...wait for it... family (haha) since we were craving Chinese food. The meal deal was 3 entrees, rice, chow mien, dumplings, and fortune cookies to the tune of $65 including tip for the driver. The meal was advertised to feed 4-5 people, well it was not even close to that. If you've been to those hole-in-the-wall restaurants, then you know what I mean when I say I was disappointed with the amount I got. The meal came inside one of those party platter trays and to be honest if I went to "Combo A" in Echo Park I could have gotten way more and higher quality food for less money. The chow mien tastes like those cheap Instant Yakisoba Noodles you get at the store for $1. Which is not what I want from a restaurant, especially after I paid what I paid for this meal. The teriyaki chicken was dry and over cooked and off course lacking in the teriyaki sauce. The rest of the food was just as subpar but those two were the biggest offenders. I felt compelled to apologize to my Wife and Child for how bad it was. I even told my Wife I'd understand if she chose to break it off with me for a day due to this food. It's bad and Pick-Up Stix as an organization should rethink their menu or something because this is an embarrassment to food and the fast-casual restaurant industry as a whole.
