SS EXPRESS ALL AFRICAN & HALAL FOOD

I'm extremely pissed off. I ordered egusi my bowl isn't even halfway full. I won't be ordering from them again. I definitely don't recommend. My beef is touching the bottom of the bowl and my soup only halfway touches the meat.

I ordered Waakye and I was very disappointed in the amount of meat, sauce and spaghetti given. This meal normally is my favorite but this meal was so DRY, I couldn’t even eat it! I wasted $28.76 having this meal delivered via uber eats! The spaghetti was a spoonful like they ran out of it, I had more beans & rice than anything else and I’m used to this dish having a perfect ratio, with red stew sauce for moisture. The fish given was so small and overcooked. Not sure if I’ll order from here again…

I called restaurant before I ordered to ask if I could get extra red stew with Egusi Soup because there wasn't an option on Doordash. The lady said sure. Okay, so I placed my order: Egusi Soup with Red Snapper and Shrimp with extra Red Stew. I received oily and uneatable Egusi Soup and no red stew. The oil was literally dripping from the spoon. Ugh 😩 So I called the restaurant again I was told they would replace my entire order the next time I ordered. I have called for 2 days now each time I'm told to call back in a minute the owner is on the way to the store or the owner will call me when she arrives so she can cook my food. Now I'm calling and no answer. I want my food. This is ridiculous.

All truckers that love African food, here’s the place. Delicious food and wide menu you can choose from, they will get it delivered to your location. As OTR, I ordered for Jollof Rice, Assorted Stew and Egusi Soup with FuFu/P-Yam… I was impressed, 48 miles away and got my order delivered to me while waiting at the Truckstop. Nice & great services and good taste meals. I recommend 100.

I had the SS Express Vegetable Vermicelli Noodles (no meat/no seafood). It was really good. The seasoning is on point. The ingredients are fresh. The food here is very clean. Not oily. And great customer service. Guys! There are so many vegetarian options! Don't hesitate to ask if some of the entrees can be amended to vegetarian options.
