About Phoenix Food Boutique - Rowland Heights

Welcome to Phoenix Food Boutique - Rowland Heights, a Chinese restaurant located at 1709 Nogales St #102 in Rowland Heights, California. As a Chinese restaurant serving the Rowland Heights community, Phoenix Food Boutique appears to be a popular establishment, often experiencing high levels of business. This popularity is highlighted in one review that suggests customers "suggest ordering ahead because they are very busy." This implies that the restaurant is well-regarded enough to attract a significant number of orders, potentially leading to longer wait times for walk-in or on-the-spot orders. For local users planning to dine from or order takeout from Phoenix Food Boutique, it might be prudent to call ahead to place their orders, especially during peak dining hours, to ensure a smoother and more timely experience.

The menu at Phoenix Food Boutique features a variety of Chinese dishes, with some specific items receiving notable mentions in customer reviews. One dish that seems to be a favorite among patrons is the "noodles with brisket," which one reviewer explicitly stated they "love." This positive feedback suggests that this particular noodle dish is a standout item and could be a recommended order for first-time visitors or those looking for a comforting and flavorful option. The combination of noodles and brisket is a less common offering in typical American Chinese restaurants, potentially making it a unique and appealing choice at Phoenix Food Boutique.

Another dish reviewed was the "hot and spicy wings." However, the experience with this item was less positive. The reviewer noted that the wings were neither "hot nor spicy" and had an "weird fried taste." This feedback indicates a potential inconsistency in the preparation or flavor profile of this dish, and it might not meet the expectations of customers looking for genuinely spicy wings. It also raises a slight concern about the frying method, as the taste was described as "weird." Customers who prefer well-spiced wings might want to consider other options on the menu based on this review.

On a more positive note, the "shrimp spring rolls" were mentioned as tasting "very good." Spring rolls are a common and often well-received appetizer in Chinese cuisine, and the positive feedback here suggests that Phoenix Food Boutique prepares this particular item to a satisfactory standard. Shrimp spring rolls could be a good choice for a starter to complement other dishes.

A recurring theme in the reviews is the preparation method of many of the dishes. One reviewer commented that "most of the other food is deep-fried" and expressed a concern that it is "easy to get out of oil" and that "there is too much oil." This is a critical piece of feedback regarding the overall style of cooking at Phoenix Food Boutique. Customers who prefer lighter, less oily food might find that a significant portion of the menu consists of deep-fried items, which may not align with their dietary preferences. The comment about "too much oil" suggests that the issue might not just be the cooking method but also the execution, potentially leading to a less enjoyable texture and taste for some diners.

The provided reviews offer limited insights into the environment and services of Phoenix Food Boutique beyond its apparent busyness. There is no mention of the restaurant's ambiance, decor, cleanliness, or the availability of dine-in versus takeout or delivery services. The focus of the feedback is primarily on the food quality and the need to order ahead due to high demand. Therefore, local users seeking information about these aspects of the restaurant will need to rely on other sources or their own experiences.

Similarly, there is no information available regarding any promotional offers, discounts, or special menu items at Phoenix Food Boutique - Rowland Heights. Customers interested in learning about potential deals or new additions to the menu are advised to contact the restaurant directly at (626) 810-8988 or +1 626-810-8988. Inquiring about any current promotions could provide additional value and help in making dining decisions.

In conclusion, Phoenix Food Boutique - Rowland Heights appears to be a busy Chinese restaurant in Rowland Heights, suggesting a degree of popularity within the local community. While some dishes, such as the noodles with brisket and shrimp spring rolls, have received positive feedback, there are concerns about the hot and spicy wings and the tendency for many items to be deep-fried and excessively oily. Customers planning to order from Phoenix Food Boutique should consider calling ahead due to the restaurant's busyness. Those who enjoy noodles with brisket and well-prepared spring rolls might find satisfying options here, but individuals who prefer less oily food or genuinely spicy wings might need to explore the menu carefully or consider other alternatives. Further information about the restaurant's environment, full range of services, and any promotions would require direct inquiry or additional reviews.

Decent - suggest ordering ahead because they are very busy. Love the noodles with brisket. The hot and spicy wings weren’t hot nor spicy, had a weird fried taste. Next time will try another

Been here dine in and take out and every time always struggling with order. Mostly take out. Every sunday i am around this area with my client and its our late lunch so l like to order for pick up so is faster. I do like the dessert here. Black bean with coconut milk, durian is good. I like salt & pepper pork chop, fish with spicy salt (basically salt & pepper fish), buddha veggies. Their food pretty good, service not good.

The seafood tom yum soup here is delicious and so is their pork and shrimp wonton soup. Customer service is ok, but very good soups here for the price.
