About Pho Hoang

Pho Hoang, located at 41-01 Kissena Blvd, Flushing, NY 11355, USA, presents a roomy, bright, and welcoming atmosphere for diners. While categorized as a Chinese Restaurant on this platform, customer reviews indicate a broader menu that includes Vietnamese dishes like Pho, as well as other Asian-inspired options. They can be contacted at (718) 762-6151 or +1 718-762-6151.

The restaurant is noted for its spacious environment, allowing for immediate seating for a party of four on a Saturday night. Many waitresses are available and willing to assist any customer who asks for help, contributing to the service aspect. One reviewer found their waitress to be very kind and sociable.

However, customer experiences with the food appear to be mixed. While one reviewer described the food as amazing overall, another found specific dishes to be just "OK." The pineapple fried rice was criticized for not containing cashews and having a different, stickier rice, resembling sushi rice. On the other hand, the duck buns, Thai bubble ice tea, Pho (mentioned as reportedly good), and crab rangoons received positive feedback.

The service experience also varied. While many waitresses were helpful, a few were reported to have an attitude, which negatively impacted the overall impression for one reviewer, overshadowing the positive aspects of the other staff members.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for Pho Hoang. Local users considering dining here can expect a spacious and bright environment with a diverse menu that includes both Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine. However, it's advisable to note the mixed reviews regarding specific dishes and the inconsistency reported in service.

The food was OK. I ordered pineapple fried rice, which was not the best. It did not have cashews, and rice was different. It was like sushi rice and a little on the sticky side. The duck buns were good, and the Thai bubble ice tea was good. I heard the Pho was good. The crab ragoon was nice. The food was better than the service. They had many waitresses who helped anyone who asked. But a few waitresses had an attitude, and that kind of ruined it for the other waitresses who we super nice.

NEWLY opened and renovated Pho Hoang located in the heart of Flushing! I’ve been coming here for a long time with my family as a child and I am ecstatic that it has now reopened. It’s super affordable, fast service, open late at night, and perfect for a quick bite in Flushing. The new restaurant is nice and clean, they serve roast pork and various Chinese bbq meats. There’s also a gelato section for some dessert. The food is hot and fresh, I really like the spring rolls, the summer rolls, and the pho here. They also serve a variety of Asian food, you can satisfy your craving with viet, Malaysian, Cantonese food here. The young owner Jeff is super nice and friendly, he gets to know the locals and people who frequent the restaurant. I can’t wait to come back here again! Also for people complaining about 18% for dine in tips. This is pretty standard now post covid. I see places charge 20%+ The staff and servers in America don’t make much base pay and that’s how the service industry makes their salary. Flushing is also a cash business place, if you want to avoid a service charge on CC, I suggest you bring cash to pay. People think it’s unfair but in this economy, I get it. Update: we got the turkey for Thanksgiving from Pho Hoang. We also got the roasted meats, fried noodle dish, and banh mi from here. Everyone at Thanksgiving loved it and it was soooo delicious!!!! Catering here is the best decision!!!!

I’m currently in New York City, eagerly waiting to enjoy a bowl of pho, the dish I’ve been craving. I ordered an extra-large pho with extra slices of ribeye. The pho is very delicious, but there’s too much rice noodle, which soaks up all the soup. The restaurant is clean, including the restroom, and it’s conveniently located near the main street, making it easy to access.
