About Phở Hải An

Phở Hải An, located at 4934 Windsor Hill in Windcrest, Texas, is a restaurant categorized on this platform as a Chinese Restaurant, though it primarily offers Vietnamese cuisine. Local users can explore a menu featuring dishes like pho and sauteed noodles.

Environment: The restaurant is described as spacious, clean, and quiet. While showing some signs of age, it is considered a nice place to eat. One visit occurred when it was not busy, with the reviewers being the only patrons initially.

Services: Phở Hải An offers dine-in service, and given the nature of the dishes, it likely provides takeout as well. Customers have highlighted the exceptional kindness and friendliness of the owners, a couple who are passionate about sharing Vietnamese flavors and treat their restaurant with care. Service was reported as prompt, with drinks and food orders taken and delivered quickly.

Features: The restaurant's key feature is its authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The pho was described as looking great, although one customer noted that the accompanying fixings appeared a little old and wilted. While their wife felt the pho was missing something, the reviewer thoroughly enjoyed the sauteed chicken and vegetables with pan-fried noodles, noting the perfectly cooked noodles, tender chicken, and al dente vegetables, enhanced with a little soy sauce and sriracha. The drinks, iced tea and lemonade, were also reported as good.

Potential Considerations: One customer mentioned that the pho, while visually appealing, seemed to lack a certain something in taste for their spouse, and the freshness of the pho fixings was questioned. However, the sauteed noodle dish received high praise. The emptiness of the restaurant during one visit might be a point of observation for potential diners.

For local users in Windcrest seeking Vietnamese cuisine, Phở Hải An offers a welcoming environment with kind and caring owners. While experiences with specific dishes like pho may vary, the sauteed noodle dishes have been positively reviewed. The restaurant's cleanliness and quiet atmosphere make it a potential option for a pleasant meal.

For me when I eat at a restaurant the service and the people who run it is key for me. If the food is really good but the service sucks, the staff is rude, then food seems to taste not as good. But if the people are kind and friendly, the staff is accommodating, the owner are caring, it can make the food taste extraordinary. The owners of this restaurant is a very kind couple. Honest folks who want to share good Vietnamese tastes with the community. They take pride in their cooking and treat their restaurant like their second home. Five Stars all around. Thank you!✨️✨️✨️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Leaving the supermarket across the street we were hungry and have always wanted to try this place out. Walking up the parking lot was empty, when we walked in we were the only patrons inside! We were greeted right away and sat right away. Few moments later our drink and food orders were taken. Drinks were brought out right away Ice tea and a lemonade which were both good. We received our food shortly after the pho looked great, the fixings were looking a little old and wilted but we kept them. After my wife fixed up her bowl she said it was still just missing something. I ordered the sauteed chicken and vegetables with Pan fried noodles! With a little soy and siracha they were great! Noodles perfectly cooked, tender chicken and al dente veggies! The place is huge, and like I said we were the only patrons... It was clean and quiet and showing signs of age but a nice place to eat. We visit the supermarket monthly so we'll definitely be back.

Nice place to go. I'm not sure if I missed the lunch rush since there were only three other people there eating. It is a little dated inside. But the food and service were good. Way in the back of the business complex.

Where do i begin. This place is awesome just a random stop drop in, has now turned into a repeat destination. The food is delicious just some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. Perfect balance of flavor and taste in every bite. Every single dish had its unique qualities. You can tell the hard work put into making this the quality and time. They definitely honed the skills to making the best. The Staff was very courteous and welcoming and helpful. Time from order to table was reasonable portions are perfect. The interior of the building was comfortable and relaxing and clean. Felt like setting at the kitchen table at home. All in all a great dining experience. It has its regular customers come in and out. And has gained a new regular customer as well. If you don’t believe go try for yourself and prove me wrong.

I had never tried this place, though I lived for 5 years in the area. When a friend and I couldn’t get a table at another place, we decided to go here. When we first pulled up, I thought it was closed, as it was dark inside, but everything indicated it was open. There were two people in the place being served. So, we went in. We both got the Vermicelli. They were out of the meat balls, so I had the lemon chicken instead. We also both got Spring Rolls, which weren’t bad, but not stellar. The gentleman was attentive, but not constantly back asking if we needed anything more, which is nice. The food was not bad overall. The cost for two was reasonable, especially in this economy. I plan to go back. I hope more people are there next time. I would definitely recommend it. My only real recommendation to the owner is turn all the lights on so you look open.
