About Phở Avina

Phở Avina, situated at 4920 W Thunderbird Rd Suite 110 in Glendale, Arizona, is a restaurant that, despite being listed under the category of "Chinese Restaurant," appears from its name and one of the reviews to be a Vietnamese establishment specializing in dishes like pho (implied by the name), spring rolls, and vermicelli salads.

Customer reviews offer a stark contrast in experiences. One reviewer had a very negative impression, describing the restaurant as "dirty, overpriced, and Not Good!" They specifically mentioned that the oxtail dish was inedible and found the entire place to be "FILTHY dirty!!" This reviewer also reported terrible service, alleging that the waiter was inattentive, burping, and touching his nose. Based on this experience, they strongly recommended avoiding Phở Avina.

Conversely, another customer had a more mixed but generally less negative experience. They ordered several items, including A4 pork and shrimp spring rolls (which they found "really good," although the peanut sauce was a bit sweet), A6 crispy wontons (not recommended due to more wrapping than filling), AS4 Sesame chicken (highly recommended), and B1 Vermicelli salad (described as "okay," but the sauce was weak, making the salad taste watered down). This reviewer noted that the portion sizes were great and the food was generally "fine."

Overall, the reviews suggest significant inconsistencies in the dining experience at Phở Avina. While one customer found certain dishes like the spring rolls and sesame chicken enjoyable and the portion sizes generous, another reported severe issues with food quality, cleanliness, and service. Local users considering Phở Avina should be aware of these contrasting opinions. There is no information available regarding the restaurant's environment beyond the cleanliness concerns raised by one reviewer, nor is there any mention of promotional offers.

Dirty, overpriced, and Not Good! The Oxtail was not edible, and the entire place was FILTHY dirty!! The service was non existent (I don’t expect much, but it was seriously terrible!!).. the waiter sat around with dirty tables, and was doing absolutely nothing, he went around the restaurant burping and touching his sniffling nose! Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I ordered the A4 pork and shrimp spring rolls, A6 crispy wontons, AS4 Sesame chicken, and B1 Vermicelli salad. The spring rolls were really good, the peanut sauce was a little sweet. The wontons had more wrapping than filling so I wouldn't order it again. The sesame chicken was really good, I would recommend that dish the most. And the Vermicelli salad was okay, the sauce was not very strong so the salad tasted a little watered down. Overall, the size portions were great and the food was fine

Called to order take out and asked for Pho with veggie broth, vegetables and tofu. When I got there to pick it up, they said “p2 with no meat?” and handed me beef broth with no tofu and no veggies. I told them that I ordered veggie broth with veggies and tofu. They asked for clarification several times and then went back into the kitchen to let the chef know to re make my order. When it was done, they handed it to me saying “veggie broth” and I double checked with them asking if there was tofu. The woman behind the counter said “yes veggie broth with veggies and tofu”. When I got it home I opened it up only to see beef broth with no tofu and a side of overcooked veggies. Extremely disappointed as I left a tip in appreciation for them remaking my order even though it was their mistake. It seems as if they just put the original one right back in the bag. Beyond that, the restaurant itself was filthy. Dust and dirt everywhere. I will not be eating what I came home with. Pho Avina was highly recommended to me but I will not be returning.

We were in the mood for something healthy and delicious so we decided on Vietnamese food. We started off with some pork egg rolls (A1) and vegetarian spring rolls (A3). Their vermicelli salad deluxe (B1) is a favorite of ours. My daughter loves pho so she got the create-your-own pho (P8) with steak and meatballs. I opted for their spicy beef soup (P10). We got the smaller size but it was still huge. We ended our lunch with a Thai tea boba. Everything was delicious! The employees were incredibly kind, friendly and very courteous. Our waiter was a very helpful young man who took great care of us - very thankful for his patience!
