About Peter's Place Chinese Restaurant

Peter's Place Chinese Restaurant is located at 23816 Crenshaw Blvd in Torrance, California, USA. They can be contacted at (310) 539-6058 or +1 310-539-6058.

This Chinese restaurant has garnered positive feedback from some customers, particularly for its USese cuisine. One reviewer mentioned that Peter's Place has become their new favorite spot for USese food, specifically praising the "tasty" pork rice and the "very good" crispy chicken.

The restaurant also advertised a special breakfast menu featuring items like freshly made soybean milk and thin and thick green onion crêpes, described as authentic USese or Shanghai style breakfast.

However, a crucial update from a recent customer indicates that the physical location at 23816 Crenshaw Blvd, Torrance, CA 90505, USA is reported to be closed after December 31, 2025, and has moved to a new, unspecified location. This customer expressed disappointment upon finding a "Closed" sign and information about the move, advising the owner to update their online presence to avoid further disappointment for potential diners.

Therefore, while Peter's Place Chinese Restaurant was known for its USese dishes like pork rice and crispy chicken, and had advertised a special breakfast, it is important to note that the restaurant has reportedly closed at its Crenshaw Blvd address and relocated. Local users are advised to seek updated information about their new location before attempting to visit.

This place became my new favorite spot for Taiwanese food, the pork rice is so tasty. And the crispy chicken is very good too.

Never been this place. After reading the review and their menu, I was really looking forward to try their special breakfast this morning. Freshly made Soybean milk, thin and thick green onion crêpe. All Looks authentic Taiwan, or Shanghai style breakfast. But a big disappointment when we arrived there. The "Closed " sign was hanging on the window + closed after 31/12/2025 and moved to new place! I saw 2 cars stopping there and looking in too. Owner, please update your page so people don't get disappointed by driving all the way to there.....

Food: I used to come here all the time and frequently ordered the chicken rice (not the special chicken rice, just the regular). And it used to be pretty good. This was my first time ordering the chicken over rice dish again in years and it was overcooked and SO salty. Sure the portions are huge, but it was so salty I couldn't eat it. Based on my most recent order, the taste was 2 stars, but considering the other 209 times I've been here on average the food is 4 stars, if you order the right dish. Service: Simple. Picking-up and dining elsewhere is the way to go. Parking: Plenty. Other: It's nice that their specials come with a complimentary classic boba milk tea when paying in cash. They take Venmo too.

Neighborhood diner serving Chinese/taiwanese breakfast items on the weekends. The rice roll is the best dish, others are ok. I would stick with to-going the rice rolls in the next next visit. The prices are really good though, they reflect the local neighborhoody vibe.

Came here for Fan Tuan at 3pm but please note the kitchen is closed from 2-5pm, while baked foods are available to purchased in the front. Luckily they had 2 fan tuan left and I bought them to go. It was really delicious! Would love to come back here on Saturday morning for Taiwanese breakfast from 9-12. Update: I returned for Taiwanese breakfast. Omg there is so much yelling between the staff that it was unbearable to eat. Not a very pleasant experience to dine in.
