Was hungry and looking for food in the area and decided to stop by Peter’s kitchen to eat there again cause I hadn’t done so in years. Now they were out of some menu items due to popularity (not surprised tbh) but honestly the quality of the food is still high and every item we ordered was delicious and hot. Their menu is also vast so there’s something for everyone’s taste.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve known Leon since his time at Lu Garden, and he has outdone himself with Peter’s Kitchen! The food is absolutely phenomenal – every dish is packed with unique and unforgettable flavors. The service was top-notch, with a warm and attentive staff that made the entire dining experience even better. Look’s dedication to excellence is evident in every detail. If you’re searching for a place that combines exceptional cuisine with impeccable service, Peter’s Kitchen/Chuan Lu Garden is the perfect choice. Come out to taste truly authentic dishes! Highly recommended!

Pros: lots of seemingly authentic choices from the dim sum and regular menus. The sui mai was excellent. Succulent and hot, straight from the rolling steam cart. Cons: Got the crispy duck from the other dim sum cart. Cold. This is a dish that just needs to be hot with crispy skin and unctuous fat dripping over tender meat. Not here. You can get it, everywhere, hot. But, they've chosen expediency here, and you get cold duck. It's also disappointing that they don't have pre-made sauces with many of the dishes. You have to fumble through and cobble your own version from the various condiments on the table. While I came up with something that suited my palate, I would imagine many diners don't share nor care for the skill set. If people wanted to cook for themselves, they would have stayed home. The net of it is nothing here was inspiring enough to make me want to come back. This is probably my fourth visit and every time I leave, more or less, feeling the same way. To each their own, but it's a competitive world out there, and you either got to bring your A-game or expect to struggle. Obviously enough people are willing to tolerate it, or don't know any better because the place did seem busy.

We had come in for their dim sum, and when they didn't have some dishes, the waitress would try to pressure us into getting dishes that we didn't want. Half the dishes came out at a good temperature some were a little cold and one has barely cooked with it still being ice cold in the center when we sent it back they just through it in the frier again and it came back out in a pool of oil and they didn't have enough food to give us the whole same dish so they just gave us something else that we didn't want. The waitress tried to have us pay twice before we had gotten everything we had ordered, and when we needed things, I actually had to just get up and grab them.

If you are looking for the best quality NYC dim sum, Peter’s Kitchen may not meet your expectations. But this place offers one of the better dim sum experiences in Orlando. And probably better than most dim sum restaurants in NYC. Hot and sour soup is not what I expected and I was slightly disappointed. That does not mean it was bad; it’s just not what I used to. Beef chow fun was excellent. And all entrees ordered by other customers look quite excellent. Dim sum cart ladies and servers spoke proficient English. Which is a huge plus and you can’t take it for granted in many Chinese restaurants. This place certainly warrants my 2nd and 3rd visit for sure.
