Based on the feedback we have received from our customers online, Peter Chang has proven to be a delightful surprise for many. One reviewer admitted to having low expectations initially, possibly due to prior reviews or the late hour of their visit, but was ultimately "wowed" by their experience. This positive turnaround speaks volumes about the quality and authenticity of our dishes. The reviewer specifically raved about the Szechuan hot pot, stating it was "the absolute best I have had in America," even more so with the addition of chicken. This enthusiastic endorsement highlights our ability to deliver exceptional and authentic Sichuan flavors that stand out even among experienced diners.
The same reviewer also mentioned the grandmother's recipe chicken, which their husband thoroughly enjoyed, describing it as "delicious." This suggests that our menu includes not only intensely flavorful Sichuan staples but also other well-executed dishes that cater to a broader range of palates. The fact that this meal was a birthday dinner and "did not disappoint" underscores our commitment to providing a satisfying and celebratory dining experience for our guests on special occasions. The reviewer's overall sentiment was one of "absolute delight," a strong indication of the positive impression Peter Chang leaves on its customers.
Another customer shared their experience with a selection of our appetizers and a main course. They found the steamed shrimp dumplings to be "good" and the scallion pancake also "good," although they were not particularly fond of the accompanying dipping sauce. This nuanced feedback is valuable as it helps us understand which aspects of our menu are particularly well-received and where there might be opportunities for improvement or varying personal preferences. The reviewer also tried the lamb, describing it as "spicy and delicious," further highlighting the authentic use of chili and spices that is characteristic of Sichuan cuisine.
Interestingly, the same reviewer also sampled our chitterlings, noting that it was "not as I was expecting" and "too spicy." This suggests that some of our more traditional or regional dishes might have a flavor profile that is more intense or unfamiliar to some palates. This is not necessarily a negative, but rather an indication of our commitment to offering authentic Sichuan flavors that might differ from more mainstream Chinese-American cuisine. The reviewer also enjoyed our plum wine, describing it as "great," suggesting a well-rounded dining experience that includes beverage options to complement the meal.

To be honest we didn't have high expectations due to the reviews, and it was late in the evening, but WOWZA! The schezuan hot pot was the absolute best I have had in America ( I added chicken) and the grandmother's recipe chicken my husband got he said was delicious! It was his birthday dinner and it did not disappoint! Absolute delight! 💯
Steamed shrimp dumplings were good the pancake was good not a fan of the dipping sauce. The lamb was spicy and delicious. Chitterlings was not as i was expecting but to spicy. Plum wine was a great
We really enjoyed our dinner at the Peter Chang Restaurant. The atmosphere is bright and colorful. The staff are very friendly and the service is very good as well. Everything that we ordered was delicious and the serving sizes are quite large. We will definitely eat here again.
My daughter decided for her birthday to try this restaurant. She ordered the Golden Chicken and Pork Dumplings. My wife had the Sweet and Sour Chicken with Lettuce Wraps. I decided on the Pork Intestine Hot Pot with Bang Bang Shrimp. All of it was delicious with the appetizers really starting the meal with enthusiasm. The main courses were equally good with good flavor and generous portions. Service by our waitress was excellent. Overall it was a beautiful dining experience.
As a student, I dine here weekly. Very reasonable price for good quality food. However, the service at this place is all over the place. One particular server Bryle is downright horrible. He's forgetful, not friendly at all, and acts like he's too cool for the job. Aside from him, this place is decent.
