About Peking Wok
Peking Wok is a Chinese restaurant situated at 17005 Roscoe Blvd in Northridge, California. This establishment has been serving the local community for an extended period, with at least one customer having patronized it since 2003, indicating a long-standing presence in the area. Peking Wok can be contacted at (818) 345-1122 or +1 818-345-1122 for orders and inquiries.
Based on the available customer reviews, Peking Wok is highly regarded for the quality of its food. One reviewer explicitly stated, "The food is delicious," indicating a positive culinary experience. This suggests that Peking Wok offers flavorful and satisfying dishes that are well-received by its customers. Another long-time patron, who has been eating at the restaurant for 20 years, also mentioned that "everything else are good" on their menu, implying a broad range of well-prepared and tasty options beyond specific dishes they might find less exceptional.
In addition to the food quality, the service at Peking Wok is also praised. The first reviewer noted that "the service is excellent," suggesting that the staff is attentive, efficient, and provides a positive experience for diners. This aspect of customer service can significantly contribute to the overall satisfaction of patrons.
A notable feature of Peking Wok, as highlighted by a long-term customer, is the generosity of their portion sizes. They specifically mentioned that Peking Wok is "very generous when it comes to portion unlike Panda Express," drawing a direct comparison to a well-known chain and emphasizing the value offered in terms of the amount of food received. This can be a significant draw for customers looking for a substantial meal.
However, the reviews also point out an area where Peking Wok could improve. The first reviewer mentioned that "the premises are a bit dirty, and there are cobwebs on the walls." They further suggested that "it's time to update the interior." This indicates that while the food and service are commendable, the cleanliness and upkeep of the dining environment may be lacking and could benefit from attention. Despite this, the reviewer still offered an overall recommendation, suggesting that the positive aspects of the food and service outweigh the concerns about the interior for them.
The long-term customer shared a personal anecdote, recalling their first visit in July 2003 with a friend and their frequent visits after working out at a local gym. This history underscores the restaurant's enduring appeal and its role as a regular dining spot for some members of the community over many years. The fact that this customer continues to patronize Peking Wok despite finding the chow mein and rice less than the best speaks to the strength of their other offerings and the overall positive experience they have had over two decades.
While the reviews provide insights into the food quality, service, and a concern regarding the cleanliness and interior, they do not offer specific details about the overall environment or ambiance of Peking Wok beyond the mention of it being "a bit dirty" and needing an update. Information about the decor, lighting, seating arrangements, or general atmosphere is not available. Therefore, local users interested in these aspects may need to visit the restaurant to form their own impression.
Similarly, the reviews do not provide comprehensive information about the services offered by Peking Wok. While "excellent service" is mentioned, the specifics of these services, such as whether they offer takeout, delivery, catering, or have particular amenities for dine-in customers, are not detailed. The mention of a long-time customer frequently visiting suggests that dine-in service is available, but other service options are not explicitly discussed.
Finally, there is no mention of any promotional information in the provided customer reviews. Details about special offers, discounts, loyalty programs, or any current promotions are not included. Local users seeking such information would need to contact Peking Wok directly or check if they have any online presence where promotions might be advertised.
In conclusion, Peking Wok in Northridge appears to be a Chinese restaurant that excels in providing delicious food, excellent service, and generous portions, which has contributed to its long-standing popularity in the community. However, potential customers should be aware of a reported issue regarding the cleanliness and outdated interior of the premises. Despite this drawback, the positive feedback on the food and service suggests that Peking Wok remains a recommended option for those seeking satisfying Chinese cuisine in the Northridge area. For details on the restaurant's environment, specific services, and any current promotions, direct contact with Peking Wok is advised.

The food is delicious, the service is excellent, but the premises are a bit dirty, and there are cobwebs on the walls. It's time to update the interior. Overall, I recommend it.
I've been eating here since year 2003 (for 20 years) with my friends and family. They don't have the best chowmien and rice but everything else are good specially their portions. They're very generous when it comes to portion unlike Panda Express. The first time I ate here was in July 2003 with my Mexican friend named Chris. We used to come here often after we work out from the gym (Bally total fitness).
It's a place you drive by and not even notice. But it's definitely a place you should stop at. The food, price and portions are great! I had sweet and sour chicken, rice, noodles, and orange chicken. It was so good and made probably 3 meals for me. Will be coming back. Thank you!
I love this place, I never eat here and still feel hungry. Been coming here for over 10 years and they always pile the to-go boxes full. Got the chow mein with beef broccoli and jalapeno chicken add some soy sauce and sriracha sauce on top washed it down with a Pepsi. I've tried a lot of different foods they have and they all taste good, I really like their cheese wontons. They have a little cooler of drinks. The staff is friendly and the price is fair for a lot of food. There's parking in the small plaza it's in.
Decent food. Definitely cheaper than the other Chinese food places in the area S
