About Peking Palace Restaurant

Peking Palace Restaurant, located at 271 S Elm St #3290 in Commerce, Georgia (30529, USA), serves Chinese cuisine to the local community. They can be contacted at (706) 335-1930 or via mobile phone at +1 706-335-1930.

As a Chinese Restaurant, Peking Palace offers a dine-in option, as mentioned by one satisfied customer who stated, "I enjoy eating in their restaurant." This suggests they have a physical space where customers can sit down and enjoy their meals.

Based on the available reviews, the food quality appears to be a notable aspect for some diners. One reviewer enthusiastically shared, "I have eaten there about 4 times and Everytime the food has been fantastic! They have the best hot and sour soup I have ever eaten." This highlights a potential specialty or strength of the restaurant.

However, another customer reported a significantly different experience, citing issues with pricing transparency (being charged dinner prices during lunch hours), order accuracy (a forgotten meal), and food quality (Mongolian beef with excessive onions, thinly sliced and mostly breaded sesame chicken, and flavorless dumplings). This suggests potential inconsistencies in their offerings and service.

The provided information does not offer details about the restaurant's specific environment or ambiance. Similarly, there is no mention of additional services such as takeout or delivery, nor any information regarding special features or current promotions. Local users interested in these aspects may need to contact the restaurant directly for more details.

In summary, Peking Palace Restaurant is a Chinese eatery in Commerce, GA, that seems to have garnered positive feedback regarding some of its dishes and the dine-in experience from certain customers. However, other reviews indicate potential concerns about pricing, order fulfillment, and the quality of specific menu items. We encourage local users to consider these varied experiences when making their dining decisions.

This place is a rip off. We were charged dinner price when it was actually during lunch hours. When I asked, they just said I didn’t ask for lunch. I shouldn’t have to specify. Got home and they had forgotten one of the meals. The Mongolian beef was 90% onions and barely any beef. The sesame chicken was so thin and was mostly bread. The dumplings had absolutely no flavor. One and done. We won’t be back.

Been eating here for almost 18 years now and my parents have been even longer. Love the food, great for a late evening dinner. Pretty good for the price and unless you're a family of 5 larger people like mine you shouldn't need to spend over $50 unless everyone HAS to get different things.

The price wasn't bad but the "buffet" only had around 10 items maybe to choose from and I personally feel like $11.00 a person is steep for what little selection we had to chose from, I won't be coming back there

You can tell the people reviewing this place who have just moved to the area from Atlanta and the suburbs and are the ones to blame for crowding the Banks Crossing area. They are the ones giving Peking Palace one star. Is this place perfect? No. It's worn down and looks dirty for those who are used to newer places. But I've been coming here since 1998, when I moved to Georgia and married my wife. My wife has been coming here since before that. We have been coming here since back when Ingles and Walmart were in the strip mall and other stores were there. The food is always good and the service is good as well. In fact I'm about to go get some soup from here for she and I because we're getting over a stomach bug and the wonton soup and egg drop soup will settle our stomachs. I came on here to see how late they're open and saw all the one star reviews, and needed to try to counteract them with my 4-star review. It would have been 5 but I wanted to be honest about the atmosphere. It's worn down after years of REAL Northeast Georgia residents eating here.
