About Peking Kitchen

Peking Kitchen, located at 7106 Bay Pkwy, Brooklyn, NY 11204, USA, is a Chinese Restaurant that offers meal delivery services to the local community. They can be contacted at (718) 259-1297 or +1 718-259-1297 to place an order.

Customer reviews present contrasting opinions on Peking Kitchen. One recent review expresses dissatisfaction, stating that the food arrived barely warm and included an extra charge. The reviewer also found the chicken to be very salty, with little meat and a dry texture, and noted that the fries appeared to be store-bought rather than homemade. This customer's experience was negative.

Conversely, a more historical review from a returning customer describes Peking Kitchen as an "epic place" from their childhood, expressing delight that it is still open and running. This reviewer found the food to be delicious and specifically mentioned their enjoyment of the sesame chicken.

The available reviews suggest a potential inconsistency in the quality of food and service. While one customer had a negative experience with warm food, salty and dry chicken, and non-homemade fries, another has fond memories of delicious food, particularly the sesame chicken, from years past. No information regarding the restaurant's environment, specific features beyond delivery, or current promotional information is available in the provided reviews.

Food is not hot, its barely warm. Charged me $2 extra. Very salty chicken, chicken has barely meat in it, its dry. Fries are store bought, not homemade like in other places.

Epic place used to eat here back when I was 9 with my fam. Nice to see they are still open and running. The food is delicious, I love their sesame chicken. 😋

Alright. So the food is GOOD!!! I ordered chicken on a stick with fried rice. I loved it. The problem I had was with the cashier though. The cashier told me the price was $6.75 for what I ordered. So I sat for 10 minutes so she can make my food. Once finished I gave her exact change of $6.75 just so she can change the price saying that the price is $7.45 because of “tax” (she had an unfriendly voice and snatched my other dollar from me from my hand) She never told me in the beginning right after I gave her the exact change. I really felt ripped off. If you ever go buy food from there make sure to ask the cashier what’s the exact total and don’t let them change the price at the end. I will go again because the food was good. But if the cashier changes the price in the last minute again I will leave the food and not pay. Best Chinese food in Brooklyn. Nothing else compares to the quality and service of this place. One bite of my pork fried dumpling and I am instantly transported back to the Sui dynasty. I am surrounded by rice fields, wearing a Raiden style hat and speaking a foreign language. Once I reopen my eyes I am disappointed to see I am back in dirty Brooklyn.

While the service is ok for what you may expect to get in an immigrant neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY, the dishes I ordered don't live up to expectations. There is a myriad of Chinese take out places around, and this particular restaurant doesn't compare to some of the ones in the area I buy from usually. Particularly, the popular sesame chicken. The chicken meat itself was so little of, so dry and hard, the dough surrounding it was too much, and way too sweet. I was chewing deep fried dough with something caramelized inside (chicken). The price was higher than similar places in the radius of several blocks. The other dish I tried was the boiled chicken dumplings. The dough of these was so thick and chewy, that it felt like I had to chew through boiled clumped up flower to get to any flavor of the filling, the ratio of meat to dough was probably 30 to 70. Overall, it feels like their standards are low for the taste of the food. There are definitely way better places to get your Chinese from.
