Food was good but almost swallowed piece of metal in my shrimp fried rice don't eat to quick check your food

Edit: as of July 16th 2023 still closed :( Super good. Good service. Always nice. But haven’t been open in weeks. There’s been a sign on the door for 3 weeks or maybe more that says 8/8/23 to 8/8/15. Idk what that means, I was there before the 23rd of July and it was closed. And then says closed for vacation. I hope they open back up soon because they are good but have tried to go many times and the sign is still up and a few months ago had to same thing. Very confusing as it says open online and the phone still rings and voicemail said open with the hours so have drove there for nothing.

Have eaten here on several occasions. The food is good and they are very consistent, I always get a very fresh looking and tasting meal. I have received fortune cookies usually when the order is large, on single small orders I have not had fortune cookies. Which is fine, just wanted to point that out. They are quick, they accept cards and everything looks clean. You can see inside the kitchen from the counter and it all seems organized and sanitized. Their only down side is that they have a relatively small fridge and often they are out of some drinks or they are hot because they were recently placed. Will continue eating at Pekin.

They have have new owners. The food is not the same , save your funds and please go some where else . the honey chicken had no neat just breading even the quality of rice as different. for $11 and some change it was horrible.

Did this place close down? Haven’t been open for what seems like over a month even tho Google says open. I’ve drove here 5+ times in the middle of their open hours to it being dark and locked everytime. For awhile there was a vacation sign that didn’t make sense. Now the sign is gone and they still aren’t open. Very sad if they did close. If they didn’t close idk what’s going on don’t waste your time driving there
