Based on recent customer reviews, Peking Garden Restaurant has received both high praise for the quality and value of some of its dishes and criticism regarding a perceived decline in the quality of at least one popular item. These contrasting experiences suggest that while some aspects of Peking Garden are well-regarded, consistency in food quality might be an area of concern for potential customers.

One enthusiastic reviewer shared a highly positive experience, stating that they had ordered the General Tso's chicken, hot and sour soup, sweet and sour chicken, and dumplings, and found all of these dishes to be "amazing." They also commented favorably on the price, describing it as "fair," and highlighted the generous portion sizes, which they felt made the meal "more than worth it." This customer strongly recommended Peking Garden, emphasizing the appealing presentation of the food ("Just look how good this looks"). This review suggests that when Peking Garden's food is prepared to a high standard, it can be very satisfying and offer good value.

However, another customer with a history of liking the restaurant reported a recent negative experience, noting a "decline in food quality." On their most recent visit, they ordered the vegetable lo mein and expressed extreme disappointment. They described the noodles as "mushy" and lacking in flavor, comparing the dish unfavorably to "over priced, over cooked spaghetti." This feedback indicates a significant issue with a dish that is often a staple in Chinese-American cuisine, raising concerns about the consistency of Peking Garden's cooking and the quality of ingredients or preparation methods for certain items.

Considering these two recent reviews, Peking Garden Restaurant appears to have the potential to deliver excellent versions of some classic Chinese dishes, as evidenced by the positive feedback on the General Tso's chicken, soups, sweet and sour chicken, and dumplings. The generous portion sizes and fair pricing also seem to be positive aspects of the dining experience. However, the reported decline in the quality of the vegetable lo mein, with issues in texture and flavor, suggests that not all dishes may meet the same high standards, or that the restaurant may be experiencing inconsistencies in its food preparation.

As a Chinese restaurant in Noblesville, IN, located in the Harbourtown Center, Peking Garden likely offers a range of other popular Chinese-American dishes to cater to local tastes. While the reviews mention specific items, they do not provide a comprehensive overview of the entire menu. Customers can probably expect to find other familiar options such as fried rice, various chicken, beef, and shrimp entrees, as well as additional appetizers. The location in a shopping center might suggest a casual and family-friendly dining environment, although the specific ambiance is not described in the available feedback.

The reviews do not mention any specific services beyond dine-in and takeout, nor do they provide information about any special features of the restaurant, such as a buffet, catering services, or unique menu items. Similarly, there is no mention of any current promotional offers or discounts that Peking Garden might be providing to its customers.

For local users in Noblesville and those visiting the Harbourtown Center, Peking Garden Restaurant presents a mixed picture based on these recent reviews. The positive feedback on several key dishes and the value offered are encouraging. However, the reported decline in quality for at least one dish, the vegetable lo mein, should give potential customers pause. If you are considering Peking Garden, you might want to try some of the dishes that have received high praise, such as the General Tso's chicken or the dumplings, but be aware that the quality of other items might be less consistent.

In conclusion, Peking Garden Restaurant in Noblesville, IN, has received positive feedback for the deliciousness and value of dishes like their General Tso's chicken, hot and sour soup, sweet and sour chicken, and dumplings. However, there is a recent report of a significant drop in quality for the vegetable lo mein. Local users should weigh these contrasting opinions when deciding whether to dine at Peking Garden. It might be advisable to inquire about the preparation and recent quality of specific dishes that you are interested in when placing your order. For more information on their full menu and any potential improvements in consistency, contacting the restaurant directly is recommended.

Always loved this place, but have noticed a decline I. Food quality. Ordered vegetable lo mein today and was extremely disappointed. Noodles were mushy and lacked flavor. I would compare it to over priced, over cooked spaghetti.

My husband went to pick up our order which included three things: Mongolian beef, sesame beef, and crab rangoons. The Mongolian beef was made as chicken, and it was so salty and spicy I couldn't eat it. I have eaten Mongolian beef and Mongolian chicken many, many times and it should not taste like that. I was willing to forgive the wrong meat but inedible is not ok.

First and last visit. Prices are higher than normal! We ordered shrimp fried rice, it had lots of shrimp but it wasn’t seasoned well at all. The jumbo fried shrimp in the picture was just plain ole weird, lots of dough and a medium shrimp in the middle, the rest was thick tasteless batter, which reminded me of a mix of corn starch and cornmeal. We ordered a few other things that were just okay.
