Delicious and fresh. Flavorful! General tso’s chicken with vegetable fried rice.
Don't ever eat here you gonna get sick
Good food, I usually order boneless ribs with bbq sauce and pork fried rice. The ribs are cut thinly and taste soo good, the rice is also good taste delicious. Four stars because it says they do delivery and they don’t.
Best Chinese restaurant (I know, cliche). But you have to wait longer than the average Chinese restaurant and I see why. They cook the food really good and my number 1 reason for the 5 stars is because the food simply Taste great! That's all why ask for. So definitely worth the wait.
This is my go-to Chinese food in the Bronx. I recommend always calling ahead to place your order because it can get crowded. It makes it easier for you to just waltz in and pick up your order. They have a lot of food options and they even have a few vegetarian options like Sesame Tofu and Tofu in Garlic Sauce. I don't eat meat often so when I order out I like to come to this location and be able to order out knowing that their food is going to be delicious! Also, their egg rolls are the best, always crispy and hot. When you order for every $10 increment, you get a free can of soda. (i.e. $10 = 1 can, $20 = 2 cans) The food is always freshly made. This isn't a Michelin star restaurant and you get what you pay for but it's a nice spot in the Bronx where the food you are getting is top-notch.
This was my first time ordering from here. Food was great my kids loved the fried chicken wings. By far one of the best places I’ve gotten Chinese Food from in a long time. The food was very tasty. Delivery was fast.
Favorite in the area BUT the delivery guy sucks! he has a bad attitude anytime he comes. He practically throws the bag at you , one time he did it and made the bag falls on the floor making all the homemade ice tea spill everywhere. Curses you out & slams doors if tip isn’t to his liking .
Ordered sesame chicken with white rice and received pork fried rice instead Placed order online the total came out to $43.79 with tax Once he arrives it magically turns out to $48 Happened multiple times first time I finally questioned him regarding it he claims that’s the old system then you should clearly update your system
They also serve fried flys lol
The meal was terrible the fish taste like it was boiled in hot water it was supposed to be fried fish and the french fries had no taste at all and they were not crisp they were soggy as if dipped in oil warm oil I will never eat there again
4.5 stars. General tso's was pretty good. Didn't taste like cheap meat other restaurants use. Very friendly owners. I'll be back next time im in the area.
New to the area, wanted to find a decent Chinese food restaurant. This was not it. Place was dirty! Too much storage all over the place! Outside is deceiving. Pork fried rice had 2 pieces of pork in it. Shrimp with beef had no flavor, chicken was dry. Egg roll was over cooked. Pork dumplings were bland. Definitely disappointed. Won’t go back!! Found a place 20 minutes away that was 199 times better. Rather travel there next time. It’s a shame, would have liked it to be better since it’s so close. Was not impressed at all!! Suggestion to business owner.. clean up customer area, add more port in your rice! Add more flavor to your food. Watch that you don’t overcook. 1st time impressions are the most important ones!
Not the best. Food was dry not alot of flavor and the place could use a good clean. I won't go back!
Good prices and good food. I just moved here and this is my new favorite place. The ppl are very friendly. Highly recommend. Beef and broccoli, chicken lo mein, egg rolls and shrimp, chicken or pork fried rice are all delicious.
Very good food here and always prepared just how I ordered it. I really love their sweet and sour chicken, and their shrimp chow mein. Their fried wontons are also good.
Excellent Chinese food. Perfect for takeout. Eat-in experience is serviceable but lack luster.
Let me start by saying food was good but I wont be ordering from them again. I love the convenience of ordering through the app. Dont like it took over an hour for our food to get delivered and we live right around the corner from location (did not do take out due to hard to get in and out of this location ). Our order came with no napkins, ordered 4 egg rolls and only 2 things of sauce, no apology from the delivery guy and they didn't have any shrimp egg rolls so I replaced with regular egg rolls which are cheaper than shrimp and I still got charged for shrimp. Never again, I'll use my hard earned money at other restaurants.
Fast Chinese food. Around $10-$15 dishes, but the portion size is large. Small restaurant with styrofoam plates and plastic utensils, which surprised me a bit. But food is comparable to other Chinese places.
We wanted an alternative to a buffet. Afterwards we wished we had gone to the buffet. I ordered lobster lomain and I got maybe 6 pieces of crayfish in it instead of lobster...I guess they kinda do look like mini lobsters lol. It was the only Chinese restaurant we ever walked into at 4pm on a sunday that did not smell like cooking food...that alone should of been our indication to leave. Everything was $1 to $2 more on our bill then printed on the menu. The entire time we were there they only had 1 phone order come in, I don't know how they stay open. The food was OK. My favorite soup is wonton but this was overly salty and the wonton tasted like an old refrigerator, i could not eat it. We won't go there again. And it ended up costing us 25% more than the Chinese buffet before the tip. Never again.
This little hole in the wall has very yummy and casual hotpot! Such a find!!
Chicken and mixed vegetable , egg drop soup, were great. Never had a bad meal .
Pad Thai is a new item on the menu and it’s nothing like Pad Thai. Big chunks of onion and noodles, that weren’t rice noodles. No peanut, no lime, too spicy to eat and I ordered mild spicy. The egg rolls are the best thing on the menu.
BEST wonton soup around. Everything we have ordered has been good. Carry out only is the reason for low marks on atmosphere. Food is always good. Get quarts instead of combo's, and portion sizes are good. My husband and I share a order.
Ordered Singapore RICE noodles with shrimp. I received a container of thin spaghetti noodles, a few bean sprouts, no sauce, and shrimp undevained. I should have known once I noticed the mold on the wall, the lady behind the counter using bare hands to make pork dumplings and their cash only policy.
Been eating here for years. Never an issue. Food is always good and so filling. Price is fair also.
This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the experience inside was something else! The service was SUPER quick (sat down and had my food probably less than 10 mins later), very friendly guy at the counter was on top of things, and the dining room was impeccably clean. The food itself was really great too. Very hot and fresh. I had the sesame chicken and it was nice and crispy. Prices were great to boot! Lunch was just $7 and change, and more food than I could eat in one sitting. I highly recommend you give it a try if you need a fast, fresh meal!
Store owner was not willing to accommodate the separation between meat and no meat products for a dinner. I asked for rice and a meat dinner product to be separated. They did not ask or accommodate either one. I am personally not a vegetarian, but I do not like everything to be pushed together into a slop like they have provided before. I only asked for a separation of food from them for this reason I was denied food. if you’re a vegetarian or do not like eating slop in a dish good luck, you will also not be accommodated.
I love their generoso's chicken! Unfortunately I had the urge for it on Saturday which they were closed! So I went to a different one south of me and boy was I disappointed. I'll never do that again!
Good food. I like everything there i have ever tried. Lately I been on the Sesame chicken.
Oh wow! Amazing food. Perfectly made, everything we had. Vegetarian offers, if you get fried rice ask for no meat ahead. So nice to us and so helpful. So cheap!
Absolutely disgusting. Sushi was big balls of gummy rice with undercooked meat inside, every chicken item was hard, couldn’t even pull in apart with my teeth, when we arrived the shrimp wasn’t even able to be pilled, but the manager accommodated us on that and brought out two more servings of it, most of the crabs smelt like sour death, fried potatoes were black, every single person in there were complaining, im surprised they are still in business, I think they’re running a dr*g scheme lol the only thing that was ok was the fried rice. Oh and the cream puffs were literally the size of my finger lol
I so wanted for it to be a 5 star, but at 5:30 Friday night the food looked like lunch leftovers. Several chicken entrees tasted strange- as if on the warmer too long. The cold boiled shrimp were room temperature and mushy. The dim sum was old and chewy. The hot and sour soup, and fresh fruit were good. I left hoping to not get sick. Maybe they should try a much, much smaller selection but focus on freshness.
Good food! I often eat at this restaurant. It's a good Chinese buffet. Suddenly found that there is now milk tea, tried today is very good! Recommend the student party can try, of course, enough to eat!
Horrible experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I dined in with them yesterday and the food was cold, sushi was warm, my daughter had a gnat in her drink & my son had a gnat in his jello. After showing the waitress & manager the gnat their response was “it’s the summer time so sometimes there are little bugs flying around…. After being charged $100 for 3 adults, 1 kid, & a 2 year old, I was so disappointed because they could not even enjoy their meal and they did nothing about that. After leaving out, it started smelling like dirty mop water in the building. I nearly got charged $15-20 a person with drinks charged separately, and watch your ticket they will charge you 15% automatic tip if there are 6 people or more, they don’t mention it to you but on my way out I read a little sign by the register. Awful place, they haven’t had an inspection since 2020, they should be shut down. My kids stomach has been hurting for 24 hours now. Who charges for a 2 year old, really… she only ate French fries and could not even eat the jello because of the gnats. They will never get my service again. Came to update my review, this place gave my son food poising.. finally leaving the Emergency Room
I found MOLD!!! Nasty. in the Valentina Sauce plus i dont agree they put there on gratitude tip when we the clients decide how much to give them food was bad just sitting there dry had to tell them to cook fresh only because it was spring break they increased prices which makes no sense i would agree to pay more is the food was actually good and there is no mold in food. overall this place needs to be shut down making people sick. next to us there was a person who found something in there food. nasty
I got the lunch special Chicken Lo Mein, and an extra egg roll cost me $11. The food was very yummy and the staff friendly 🙌 First time visiting this location, and we will be back! Thank you, Peking!🏆
Writing this while I’m sitting with a bunch of people waiting on orders. I called in 1 hour and 15 minutes ago and was told 20-25 minutes. I don’t think they actually start cooking your food until you show up and check in, so I don’t waste your time calling in or ordering online. Food is good if you get it before you starve to death.
Honestly the best Chinese food in the area but was told at 5:22 pm our order would be ready in 25 minutes. Finally got it at 7:15pm. Offered nothing for waiting almost 2 hours. Very poor time management. But great food.
Peking was very clean and welcoming. The service was great, and the food was excellent. The food was fresh, flavorful, and not at all greasy. Peking is a must try establishment. In my opinion, this is one of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever eaten in.
Waited 1 hr for a small strip fried rich and egg roll, lied and said 15min, I drive there 20min later just to make sure I'm in an out fast. Nope didn't happen, waited 40 more minutes, it's like they're making your food as you order it, I've never seen a Chinese restaurant that wasn't fast, it's unbelievable how bad their service is.
I will give it a hundred stars. The food is excellent
Ordered vegetable fried rice and crab Rangoon 1/17/2025. It was horrible. No soy sauce for the rice! No sweet n sour sauce for these dry ass Crab Rangoon…. Never Again! Mad that I HAD to even give a star
At one time I would have given them 4 stars for the food. Never more than 2 stars for friendliness. They don't seem to appreciate their repeat customers at all. That's just a side note though because my main reason for leaving this review is the food portions. They used to pretty much serve equal parts of chicken and vegetables. Lately the chicken has been VERY sparse! I was there recently and they gave me a bunch of vegetables with about 1% chicken! This is not an exaggeration. The one star is because the food is always fresh and has good flavor. If I wanted a vegetable dish only that's what I would have ordered but if I order chicken I expect to actually have chicken as the primary serving with vegetables as an accent. This time they served me with what looked like a few SLIVERS of chicken thrown in by mistake. Unacceptable! What you see is what they served me. I brought the chicken to the top of the dish filled with veggies. smh
Would give 0 stars if I could. Called in to order ahead & got hung up on. Called back & she said she hung up because I didn't know what I wanted?? Then, I get there & she's wearing a shirt that says "This shirt would look good on your floor"??? How unprofessional. She acted like we were a burden, as if she were overwhelmed and it wasn't even busy. I will never go back. Highly disappointed. Was my 1st and last time visiting! ***Revision*** The lady scolded my friend for MY review & that just shows how childish this woman is. Scolded a loyal customer over their friends review. That's how you get more bad reviews!
Hi I’ve been to this place many of times and their pork fried rice is so good and the boneless ribs this is the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been too.
Please save ur self the trouble. My first visit here was too much for me. A customer was there because they charged her card twice. The employees was going off on the customer. They locked a customer outside in the freezing snow. I ordered white rice and they gave me pork fried rice and I'm kind of too scared to go back. Horrible business so please save your money. I'm sure you don't want to get charged twice anyhow.
Sushi was warm. Good kind of tasteless. Hot and sour soup. good. Beef with mixed vegetables was ok. Not the best not the worst. Staff ok. Sushi is expensive. Prices especially for sushi have gone up significantly.
We had a fantastic dinner at this wonderful family-owned restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with kindness and hospitality. The food was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious! We could tell it was made with care. Every dish was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We truly appreciate the friendly service and can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing Chinese food and a great dining experience!
I have mixed emotions with this place. First impressions were awful enough we almost left. Hunger won and we stayed. There were several tables that needed to be cleaned and the whole place could have used a good wiping down and maybe a paint job. Seating wasn't conducive to small groups and 2 of the 4 chairs at our table were terribly uneven. The food, however, was really good. It is Americanized Chinese, but quite well done and flavorful. We did not order sushi, so I can't say about it. I would suggest getting take away orders. I put 3 stars on service because of the lack of care on cleaning tables and sweeping floors, etc.
My sushi roll was hot. Raised prices significantly on it. Food is ok. Kind of tasteless. Used to be way better. People are sometimes rude. To me it has gone down hill and is sub par. Parking lot is a nightmare to get in and out and very small over packed strip mall. Eat in but small restaurant. I only really go for sushi. But it has become sloppy so I seek elsewhere for it. Food is ok. Rice and soy is better and good service. It's around the corner. I usually go to them or the other one by taco bell. Peking went from my favorite to you guys could do way better. Their hot and sour soup tasted like water. It used to be better.
We stayed in Cullman on our way back home. We went to this restaurant based on high Google rating. We ordered the sesame chicken combo. The food was average. They use yellow rice for the fried rice and the chicken chunks were chewy. If we pass through Cullman again, we will not order food from this restaurant.
