Pei Wei Asian Kitchen

What a great and wonderful experience i had at Pei Wei. The person who took my order was Ashley and she was the kindest thing ever. My boyfriend & I wanted to try something new and we will come back for sure!! Overall, the food tasted amazing and the customer service was top notch. Definitely will be a regular!

Usually this location is pretty good. Today not so much Orderd the Kung Pao with Tofu which I always ask for it to be extra crispy, Today it was not, So i asked for it to be remade and the head chef came out to tell me that it could not be done and argued with me over it. Bad given to the head chef attitude for a former customer since I will not return to this location because of him. And he's also eating while he's in the kitchen!!!! Taking bites of food with his bare hands. (No, cooks should not eat or drink near food in the kitchen, including in Arizona. Eating and drinking should be done during a meal break. Explanation Eating or drinking near food can create a risk of contamination.) He purposely made my food tasteless, Kung Pow is supposed to be full of flavor. This meal was not tasteful at all. Not a professional chef eats with his barehands while working the line. See pictures. Disgusting!

I want to start off by saying Ashley was the most amazing employee I’ve met when I arrived to Pei Wei for the first time. She kindly briefly explained what the menu has to serve. she was very patient with me when it came to my indecisiveness. She gave great customer service, making sure I didn’t have any problems with my order and starting a small conversation to pass the time. I very much enjoyed her time. I would absolutely consider going back here with my family and introduce of what a great person Ashley is. I very much enjoyed my experience and would definitely recommend visiting Pei Wei, especially when Ashley is there to take care and make your customers service worth while.

This was a pleasant experience nice clean restaurant. The food was delicious and I enjoyed every bite. I ordered the firecracker chicken and the new hot honey chicken. Dumplings were cooked to perfection. Lettuce wraps are nice and crunchy. For the price I paid for two I could have been offered the catering tray for three. The catering tray for three is probably your best bet if you are hungry and want to get the best for your buck.

I went in today, stood in a very long line to be told by somebody named lupa That wasn’t wearing a name tag that she was unable to make me an order of tofu cut small due to my dietary needs ( I don’t need to explain it) She refuse to serve me was completely rude. Told me that they never do that when I’ve been going to this particular location for several years I’ve always had tofu cut smaller so she literally lied to my face after standing in a line for over 20 minutes during lunch never again will I ever go to Pei Wei
