Pei Wei Asian Kitchen

I recently visited Pei Wei Asian Kitchen at Huebner Oaks in San Antonio, Texas, and I must say, I had a fantastic experience. From the moment we walked into the restaurant, assistant manager Samira Ammouri was incredibly attentive and helpful. Her welcoming and kind demeanor made us feel right at home. We decided to order the sesame chicken lunch plate, along with lettuce wraps, vegetable spring rolls, Thai donuts, and spicy honey wings. The food was prepared quickly and tasted absolutely delicious. Each dish was rich in flavor and left us thoroughly satisfied. Overall, I'm so happy that I made the decision to visit this restaurant. I will definitely encourage others to visit this location so they can have a memorable experience and enjoy the tasty and delicious food.

Food was amazing chili was too HOT!! Jk I love hot chili AWESOME FOOD AND SERVICE FROM DIHIA!! See you soon finished up half of the chili in jar so sorry NOT LOL. Hot honey chicken and chicken Thai pai we’re awesome

Dihia was a very good waitress, always checking on us and making sure if we needed anything . The food was delicious, atmosphere good and the place was very clean.

So I went to Pei Wei on Huebner, for the first time in the year that I've lived in this great area of San Antonio (over on the west side, near Shavano Park) and I must say, I was impressed (and I haven't even tried the food yet). Currently, my food sits next to me (to go) as I type this review. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by Samira - let's just go ahead and refer to her as the "hostess", because she didn't feel like a cashier. She greeted everyone with such a welcoming hello - she makes you smile. She gave me time to look over the menu. Now, call me a cynic, but I had already made mental comparisons of this place to a similar Asian cuisine experience whose name I won't mention - but they advertise a "very fast panda bear" 🙄😏 Pei Wei was VERY clean. I would say immaculately clean - there were some gnats near the drink station, but I've never visited a restaurant that did not have that issue. I've also never visited a restaurant that actively tried to combat this issue, before today. It is obvious that they do their best to provide a clean and welcoming dining experience. I'm expecting the food to be equally as pleasing and if it is, I will return here, and maybe I'll stay and dine in. If you happen to be in the area, you should stop by with the family.

I went here for a birthday meal. My family had the Chicken Pad Thai, Firecracker Chicken, Sticky Wings and Honey Sriracha Wings (bone in.) Overall food was good especially the Pad Thai! The sauce for the Firecracker Chicken and the Honey Sriracha Wings are the same. It supposed to be a one on spicy but it wasn't spicy at all. I dropped my lime on the ground for my Pad Thai. They easily gave me another with no complaints. We also tried the Thai donuts. The only thing I was disappointed on. These donuts are not regular sized donuts but they are donut holes. I don't think they say they are holes on the menu. So I just assumed they were bigger. You order and you are served at your table. You have to get your own napkins, condiments and drinks. When you are finished they clean up. Overall the experience was good. The location on Huebner was clean. The atmosphere didn't make me feel I could be in an Asian country. Definitely recommend. Prices are reasonable. Servings are decent.
