About Peacock Chinese Restaurant

Peacock Chinese Restaurant is a local establishment located at 338 Cooley St, Springfield, MA 01128, USA. They can be contacted at (413) 783-9996 or +1 413-783-9996.

As a Chinese Restaurant, Peacock Chinese Restaurant offers a variety of dishes and provides options for dine-in and delivery. However, recent online reviews indicate significant concerns regarding food quality and service.

Several customers have expressed dissatisfaction with their experiences. One reviewer reported receiving what they perceived as deliberately ruined food and encountering rude and unprofessional behavior from a staff member. This customer also mentioned a considerable wait time for their order and issues with obtaining a refund.

Another review highlighted problems with the quality of the white rice on multiple occasions. The pricing of certain menu items, such as the beef teriyaki and pupu platter, was also considered high for the quantity and perceived value. Additionally, the restaurant reportedly does not handle its own deliveries, relying instead on third-party services like DoorDash, which may result in upcharged menu prices. While some dishes like the general tso's chicken and dumplings were noted as being of good quality and fairly priced, the overall consensus from this review was negative, citing rude wait staff and overpriced items, including alcohol.

Based on this recent feedback, it appears that Peacock Chinese Restaurant is currently facing challenges in maintaining consistent food quality and delivering satisfactory customer service. Potential patrons may want to consider these recent experiences when deciding whether to dine in or order from this establishment.

No information regarding current promotions or special offers is available in the provided reviews. To inquire about any such offers, direct contact with the restaurant is recommended.

New ownership huh?! This is what they served me on Christmas Day. Scallion pancakes and egg rolls a forty minutes wait total. I called it in and was told thirty minutes ....once I got there they informed me they hadn't started it. Had to get back to work and inquired this must have pissed the overweight asian girl with glasses. She is abrasive and pathetic she served me deliberate ruined food. I am waiting on my refund from Ben who is supposed to be calling. Rude, disgusting and unprofessional. Do not waste your time....people who behave like this cannot be trusted.

I take everything i to consideration when rating. Ive been here 2 times now, once i ate in the restaurant and once i ordered delivery. The white rice was bad both times. $20 for 7 large beef teriyaki, while the quality of meat was good its not worth it. $28 for a pupu platter with very few appetizers. store doesnt deliver without doordash so that sucks. everything is upcharged on the app. the general tsos chicken and dumplings were good quality and priced fairly. Wait staff was rude, everything else is extremely overoverpriced, especially the alcohol. 906homwins dumplings are better. China gourmet has better general tsos. Overall I wouldn't recommend supporting this business.

While we usually really enjoy their food, tonight was a different story. Crab rangoon was faaab, as usual... but pork fried rice had that distinct freezer burned taste (even confirmed by my husband altho his special fried rice was great according to him). Chix fingers had very thin batter & were over-fied, dry n tough. I don't know, ... maybe a bad evening?

Best Chinese spot nearby. Was so good about letting us move around due to our autistic daughter having some issues. Was really nice about how she was stimming and overstimulated. Their food was amazing as always and we love their homemade duck sauce have been eating here since I was a little girl so glad my kids eat here too. Please don't ever close

The food is great for the most part. Service is friendly and prompt. But the T V. volume is way too loud. It's hard to hear guests at our table.
