About Paul Chen Hong Kong Restaurant

Paul Chen Hong Kong Restaurant is a Chinese restaurant located at 2426 N Charles St, Baltimore, MD 21218, USA. They can be contacted at (410) 235-8745 or +1 410-235-8745.

This Chinese restaurant offers an indoor seating area, though one reviewer noted it might not be easily accessible. The restaurant appears to focus on providing generous portion sizes at affordable prices. According to one positive review, the egg drop soup, Rangoon, and fried rice were particularly enjoyable. This customer also appreciated the unique touch of being served orange slices at the end of their meal.

However, another customer reported a very negative experience, citing unreasonable prices for a $30 order and being denied a receipt for a cash payment. This reviewer strongly recommended against visiting and made a serious accusation of racism, though no specific details were provided to support this claim.

It's worth noting that one of the reviewers who enjoyed the food mentioned that two of their dining companions experienced digestive issues after their meal, while they themselves were unaffected. This suggests that individual experiences with the food may vary.

In summary, Paul Chen Hong Kong Restaurant offers large portions at low prices, with some customers praising dishes like the egg drop soup and Rangoon. However, there is a significant negative review concerning pricing, service (specifically regarding receipts), and a serious accusation. Potential customers may want to consider these contrasting experiences when deciding whether to dine at this establishment.

Great chinese restaurant. I visited with two others and the restaurant was empty. They do have an indoor seating area, but it doesn't seem super easily accessible. The portions were large and the prices were low. I particularly enjoyed the egg drop soup and the Rangoon. The fried rice was pretty good as well. Two of my friends who visited with me had some digestive issues after eating here, but I was completely fine. They left us with orange slices to close out the meal, which I thought was really wonderful. I've never seen a restaurant do that.

This place is wonderfully clean and beautiful, recommended by my older brother when we went there today! Food: Sushi had my mouth watering and the egg rolls and taro milk tea and seafood combo was especially delicious! The boba in the taro milk tea impresses me most due to its soft texture and easily chewy flavor!! Service: For at first I was a bit skeptical of the place my brother recommended, because of course it was in Baltimore city. The servers were kind and helpful in every aspect of the experience here! It gave me a more optimistic outlook about what Baltimore city is really going for. Atmosphere: Outside the restaurant is a bit shady and gray but the inside was burning with inviting and welcoming air which disproved my recent suspicions. Music was nice and simple, giving the place a lovely feeling of warmth and comfort sitting down on simple but nice chairs. Conclusion: 10/10 would go back again when given the chance! P.S, they even have a few vegetarian options which I will definitely use if I were vegetarian

Boyfriend and I was visiting Baltimore for a New Year's Eve party. We drove in a day early and he was in the mood for authentic chinese food. we found this place on Google it was about 25 minutes away from our hotel however we still decided to take the drive. On Google it tells you to make a reservation which is what we did. The place is very nice the food is absolutely delicious, you definitely get your monies worth. Monica our server was awesome. We did go around 8:00 at night, we were the only patrons there that was eating inside. The neighborhood looks a little suspect, and I would advise them to please get some heat. Everlast the service and the food will definitely make me go back again.

I have been ordering from this place for years and as of latelet me say I have been highly disappointed. I get shrimp yak ,Shrimp with broccoli, ribs ,Egg rolls. I spend a lot of money here, and when I say disappointed, the shrimp was overcooked to the point when I bit into it it was mushy. I gave them a second chance and the same thing happened again. The ribs were full of fat, no meat. Shrimp mushy. The only thing that passed was egg rolls. Update the egg rolls had meat in there and i specifically ordered vegetable eggrolls
