This small, family-owned restaurant is a true local gem. My husband and I both ordered the red curry chicken for me, pork for him—and it was delicious! The flavors were spot on, but be mindful of the spice level if you’re not used to heat. The menu offers a good variety, and the curry alone is enough to keep us coming back.

Sooo, I did a thing and tried Thai food for the first time yal. It was delicious. I went with a team from work because of someone's recommendation. We each ordered something different and shared the lot. I ordered the lunch special of Pattaya fried rice. It has pineapples and cashews in it! Lunch special comes with a soup or salad. I am typically a salad chick but opted for the soup this day. It was Tom Kha Gai (light soup with chicken, mushrooms and coconut milk). It was heavenly. The soup came to the table hot. Unfortunately I had to give this visit 2 stars 🌟 🌟 out of 5 because we had to wait nearly an hour for food. We could only enjoy our soup/salads at the table and had to get our entrees to-go. I do appreciate that the food was piping hot when it finally got to us but 1 hr is just way too long. I would definitely eat here again if I am in the area because the food is top tier. I will just make sure not to come during lunch time.

We are currently Clearwater residents, thanks to Milton. In our quest to eat different stuff around us we have been trying to eat local. It's also well-known that an independent strip mall restaurant that's well-established is going to be banging. Walking in, we loved the atmosphere. Very clean, comfortable and friendly. Two other groups came in at the same time and bless the one server, she crushed it. The side fried rice was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We each had to get one. Also ordered crab rangoon because it came highly recommended in the other reviews. (Speaking of reviews, the sushi was also recommended but they no longer serve sushi, FYI). The fiance loved his pumpkin curry, but wouldn't stop reaching over to steal my Pattaya Noodles. I usually get drunken noodles but didn't see them and kept finding myself back at the Pattaya Noodles. The sauce (called "gravy" but I can't stop picturing American gravy and no no no) was amazing, complimenting the noodles and veggie mix. The tofu was perfectly crispy and soaked in the sauce to a perfect consistency. We look forward to going back and working through some more items. Prices were also very reasonable for the hefty portions. We just spent more per person because we ordered more than a regular person probably would as our eyes were bigger than our stomaches.

After seeing all the great reviews, I was excited to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, I was disappointed and found Pattaya Thai to be very average & mediocre. I've been to Thailand and eaten a lot of wonderful Thai food over the years, and the best Thai food is usually very aromatic and made from extremely fresh ingredients. I ordered Pad Thai (my usual first-visit test) & my friend ordered Red Curry. The food came out very quickly and was served up hot, but right away I could tell that the ingredients were not the fresh, aromatic vegetables & sauces that I'd hoped for. Nothing was wrong, nothing was bad ... it was just all very mediocre and tasted like many of the ingredients had been frozen or were from a can or jar. The prices were very reasonable, I'd even say low in this day and age. But with so many other great Thai places to visit in Pinellas County, I won't be coming back to Pattaya.

Have been coming here often for the last year. Food is always quick and amazing! Great service and even better food. The basil fried rice and pad Thai are the best in my opinion. I usually order red curry at Thai restaurants but at Pattaya I’d say the shrimp basil friend rice is the best.
