We eat here twice a year. Very tasty food, great service and quite expensive. It’s a great place to eat seafood because you get your moneys worth of delicious food! I would go and dine there a lot more often but the menu items while delicious, are very expensive. Is it worth it? For twice a year yes!
This is one of my families’s favorite places to go have a nice dinner. We do not go frequently as it is a little pricier than our wallet would normally allow. But it’s OK for special occasions price wise and it’s not that anything really is overpriced because you get an enormous amount of food on your plate. And everything is cooked perfectly, you couldn’t ask for much better. This last visit we were there for my birthday and my grandson’s birthday. Attaching photo.
Let me share with everyone our family’s go-to restaurant, Pappadeaux, which we absolutely love! We visited again for our anniversary this time, and it’s been a year and a half since our last visit. It’s been a while, and we were pleasantly surprised to see quite a few new additions to their menu. I’d like to share and recommend a few things with you all! Complimentary Bread First off, they serve complimentary bread before your meal. Am I the only one who feels that the free bread at Western restaurants always tastes amazing? 😂 This time, they introduced a new garlic sliced bread 🥖, topped with a flavorful seasoning mix that was absolutely delicious and super well-seasoned! The bread was toasted to perfection—crispy and fragrant. Their classic buttered bread is still available, but this new garlic bread is even better. If you visit, make sure to ask the waiter for this new item! 😋 Appetizer For the appetizer, we ordered their fried alligator, which is refillable! 🤣 Although it’s called alligator meat, it honestly doesn’t taste much different from fried chicken nuggets. 😆 The shredded potato side dish was also incredibly tasty, and paired with their dipping sauce, it was just chef’s kiss! 🤤 Mains I had the lobster pasta as my main dish. It came with crawfish meat, sausage, garlic slices, tomatoes, and shrimp 🦐. The pasta was super flavorful and cooked to perfection. 👍🏼 The other main dish we ordered was the trout, served with mashed potatoes on the side. The mashed potatoes were an absolute highlight—rich, creamy, and so smooth it melted in your mouth. The flavor was incredibly satisfying, and I’ve never had mashed potatoes this good before. Pairing it with the fish was just heavenly. Highly recommend it! 😍 Dessert Since it was our anniversary, we ordered a big slice of cheesecake for dessert. To be honest, it was a bit too sweet. 😅 Halfway through, we found it a bit overwhelming. I wouldn’t recommend the dessert, as Western restaurants tend to cater to American tastes, and their desserts are usually very sweet. For us, it got a little too cloying. 😅 That’s everything we ordered! Honestly, everything else on their menu is really good too, and you can’t go wrong with any choice. Highly recommend this spot for a casual outing or special occasions! 😬
I don't think I've ever had a bad experience at Pappadeaux....ever! Sunday was a busy day, but we were sat down within minutes and our waiter was exceptional. From the appetizers, to the dessert, everything was delicious!!! Would always recommend Pappadeaux any day!
Ate dinner here while in town for a business meeting. The food was great as always and service was top notch. Our server Kira was prompt, courteous and friendly the entire time. Our glasses never went empty, which is huge for me. We had the seafood platter and it was a lot of food. I would definitely return to eat here again.
