Panpan Wok seems to specialize in combo plates, offering customers a variety of options to sample different dishes. According to customer reviews, the restaurant is particularly notable for its very generous portion sizes. One reviewer who ordered a "type A combo" mentioned receiving a substantial amount of everything included. Similarly, another customer who ordered two "combo plates (B)" and one single "(A)" emphasized that they "load up the food," suggesting that customers can expect excellent value for their money in terms of quantity.

The quality and flavor of the main dishes at Panpan Wok have been positively highlighted. The orange chicken, in particular, received praise for having "a lot of flavor" and a good ratio of chicken to breading, unlike some other establishments. The beef and broccoli and coconut shrimp were also mentioned as being "good." This indicates that Panpan Wok focuses on delivering tasty and satisfying main courses that appeal to a broad range of palates.

The combo meals typically include a choice of sides, such as fried rice and chow mein. While one reviewer found the fried rice to be "good," another described the rice as "pretty bland." The chow mein, on the other hand, was noted to be "delicious" by one customer. This suggests that the quality of the side dishes might vary, and customers may have their own preferences.

The service at Panpan Wok was described as "fine" by one reviewer, indicating a satisfactory but perhaps not exceptional experience. The focus of the reviews tends to be more on the quantity and quality of the food rather than the service itself.

Regarding the environment of Panpan Wok, one customer noted that "the place itself isn't much for atmosphere or decoration; it's pretty plain." This suggests that the restaurant prioritizes functionality and perhaps affordability over elaborate decor. Customers looking for a casual and straightforward dining setting will likely find Panpan Wok suitable. It's also worth noting, as mentioned by the reviewer, that there is an over-18-only pub or bar located a few doors down, and it was observed that people were often standing outside smoking in that vicinity. This might be a factor to consider for some customers depending on their preferences and sensitivities.

The primary service offered by Panpan Wok, based on the reviews, appears to be takeout. Customers frequently mention ordering combo plates for taking away. While dine-in service is implied by the reviewer who ate at the restaurant and commented on the atmosphere, the emphasis on combo meals and generous portions suggests that Panpan Wok is well-suited for takeout orders, allowing customers to enjoy substantial meals at home.

Currently, the provided reviews do not include any specific information about ongoing promotions or special offers at Panpan Wok. Got the type A combo to try it out. Very generous portion sizes of everything. The orange chicken had a lot of flavor and not all bread like other places. The fried rice was good. I wish the noodles had more flavor. Would def try it again.

We got 2 combo plates (B) and i single (A) and man they load up the food! We got chow mein and rice as sides and beef & broccoli 🥦 Coconut 🥥 Shrimp 🍤 and Orange 🍊 Chicken 🐔. Honestly, it's enough food to split. I got an extra plate, which I probably didn't need. We took a lot home. The chow main was delicious, but the rice was pretty bland. The main dishes were good too. The service was fine. The place itself isn't much for atmosphere or decoration, it's pretty plain. Also to note, a few doors down there is an over 18 only pub or bar, and lots of guys were standing outside smoking.

The food is good. I was not a fan of the chicken egg roll. However, the veggie one is good.

The food was sooo good! Best Chinese food I’ve had since I’ve been in SD, the teriyaki chicken is really tasty and soft, the coconut shrimp is just perfect! Will definitely go back to try the rest of their food!

Has to be one of the worst Chinese restaurants I’ve tried. Really wanted to ask for my money back but took the loss instead. I guess i’m the one who decided to stop there, my fault, never doing that again. Orange chicken was indescribable, not sure how you can make chowmein taste so gross, either. Eggrolls were mush. Fried rice was decent but also incredibly stale. They should honestly be shut down. I’m pretty horrified.
