Panera Bread

I love Panera but I would like to see more detailing in their restaurants decor. They all seem so bland and devoid of attachment to their respective communities. I realize it is in keeping with a minimalist, easy to keep clean approach but it does not motivate customers to stay a while and/ or make it a dining experience.

$51 for 1/2 veggie sandwich, bread bowl, kids mac n cheese and a brownie. Paid over $12 for the baked potato soup and it was like watered down lukewarm cat vomit. Never again.

I can’t figure out why this establishment has any good reviews. I dined here last night. None of my food was hot. Everything was lukewarm. Their new French dip sandwich was horrific with little tiny pieces of chewy beef that had no flavor and was overcooked with a brown onion liquid that’s supposedly Au Jus , it was flavorless brown water with pieces of onion. My bread bowl with soup was not even full and soup was lukewarm and flavorless. My salad tasted like there was no dressing on it. The establishment was dirty outdated and smelled moldy. The self serve soda machine was soapy and not palatable. I have frequented Panera since they first opened on the island some 20 years ago and the food was good. The best thing here was the kind man behind the counter who took my order .Extremely disappointed how far this chain has fallen since they first opened

This is a special place my friend Linda and I meet for lunch. The food is good and healthy. The atmosphere is fantastic for conversations. We love our lunches here.

They do not think about the safety of customers food with delivery services. I had my bag tampered with and my chips were stolen that little flimsy not even sticky tape they put on bags is so easy to rip off, mine wasn’t even stuck to the bag it was ripped open. The bread looked like someone ripped pieces off my steak sandwich had probably a slice of meat in it not ever completely a sandwich. My dasher must’ve been hungry or the store just throws old ripped up bread in their delivery order bags.
