About Panda Wok

Panda Wok is a Chinese restaurant located at 3044 McGehee Rd in Montgomery, Alabama. For local residents seeking Chinese cuisine, Panda Wok offers a dining option in the area. To provide an objective understanding of what potential customers might expect, it's important to consider the recent feedback shared by individuals who have experienced Panda Wok firsthand.

Based on the available reviews, the experiences at Panda Wok appear to be largely negative. One customer described their food as "nasty," stating it was their first and last visit to the establishment. This individual ordered the General Tso's chicken and egg rolls, and their only positive comment was about the sweet tea.

Another reviewer echoed this sentiment, labeling the food as "the worst Chinese food ever." This customer ordered the Hunan spicy chicken with fried rice and reported significant issues with their meal. They stated that the meat was not the expected type and that the dish lacked any spiciness, contrary to its description. Additionally, they mentioned their granddaughter's experience with the sweet and sour chicken, noting that the sauce had a Jell-O-like consistency and even caused a temporary red discoloration of her fingers. This reviewer expressed strong disappointment and indicated they would not be returning to Panda Wok.

Interestingly, within the negative review, there was a single positive comment regarding the steamed broccoli, which was described as "perfect." This isolated positive feedback suggests that while there may be inconsistencies in the overall food quality, some individual components might be prepared to a satisfactory standard.

Beyond the food quality itself, one of the reviewers reported a serious concern regarding their payment. They stated that their card was overcharged, with a signed amount of $29 resulting in a $35 charge to their account. This discrepancy in billing is a significant issue that can severely impact customer trust and satisfaction.

Considering these recent reviews, it is challenging to provide a positive introduction to Panda Wok. The feedback highlights significant concerns regarding the taste and quality of multiple dishes, including the General Tso's chicken, egg rolls, Hunan spicy chicken, fried rice, and sweet and sour chicken. The reported issues range from the food being described as "nasty" and the "worst ever" to specific problems like incorrect meat, lack of expected spiciness, and unusual sauce consistency. The additional report of an overcharge further compounds the negative experiences shared by these customers.

It's important for local users in Montgomery, AL, to be aware of this recent feedback when considering Panda Wok as a dining option. While individual experiences can vary, these reviews raise red flags about the consistency and quality of the food, as well as potential issues with billing practices. Without additional positive feedback to balance these negative accounts, it is difficult to recommend Panda Wok based on the information currently available online.

Therefore, if you are considering Panda Wok, it might be prudent to either exercise caution or seek more recent and diverse opinions to get a broader understanding of the current customer experience. The stark negativity in these reviews suggests that there may be significant areas needing improvement at the establishment. For those prioritizing food quality and accurate billing, the experiences shared by these customers warrant careful consideration. As there is no information provided regarding the environment, services beyond order fulfillment, features, or any promotional information, the focus must remain solely on the direct feedback concerning the food and a critical issue with payment processing.

In conclusion, based on the recent online reviews, Panda Wok at 3044 McGehee Rd in Montgomery, AL, has received considerable negative feedback regarding the quality and taste of its food, with specific issues reported across several dishes. Additionally, a serious concern about overcharging was raised by one customer. While there was a single positive comment about the steamed broccoli, the overwhelming sentiment suggests a significantly unsatisfactory experience for these reviewers. Local users should weigh this information carefully when deciding whether to patronize Panda Wok.

This was the worst Chinese food ever. I ordered Hunan spicy chicken with fried rice and it was not the right meat nor was it spicy. My granddaughter had the sweet and sour chicken and she said the sauce was like Jell-O and it turned her her fingers red. I will never eat here again very disappointed 😞. Also he over charged my card signed for $29 and he charged my card $35. The 1 star is for the broccoli it was steamed perfect 👌

Now this Chinese restaurant is one of my favorites. Only the drive-thru is open. The food here is made to order so it is in my experience always fresh. Try the duck it is so delicious. The fried chicken is never dry like majority of places like these. The fried options are always made with eggs. The flavors are consistent. To eat here you need patience to be but it's worth the wait

I ordered fried rice and lo mein here. I LOVED the fried rice. It is one of the best fried rice I have ever eaten from a Chinese restaurant/take-out place in the US. It wasn't oily and it wasn't too salty. I'm Chinese and I've been cooking since I four. This place is better than most Chinese restaurants I've been to, including NYC and LA.
