Welcome to Panda Wok, a Chinese restaurant conveniently situated in Harbor Village Mall at 18 Main Street, MA-119, Townsend, MA 01469, USA. As a valued member of the Chinese Restaurant category, Panda Wok offers a diverse menu that extends beyond traditional Chinese cuisine, also featuring sushi options. You can easily reach them at (978) 597-1388 or +1 978-597-1388 for reservations or inquiries.

Panda Wok distinguishes itself by offering a combination of Chinese and Japanese cuisine, making it a unique dining destination in the Townsend area. While primarily categorized as a Chinese restaurant, the inclusion of a sushi bar indicates a broader culinary offering designed to cater to a wider range of preferences. This fusion approach allows local users to enjoy both familiar Chinese dishes and fresh sushi under one roof.

Based on recent customer reviews, the environment at Panda Wok is considered pleasant and clean. One reviewer explicitly mentioned that the restaurant is "cleaner and nicer than a lot of restaurants in the area," directly contradicting any potential negative perceptions from older reviews. This suggests that Panda Wok takes pride in maintaining a comfortable and hygienic dining space for its patrons who choose to dine in.

In terms of services, Panda Wok offers dine-in service, as indicated by a customer who mentioned sitting down for their meal. While takeout is a common offering for Chinese restaurants, it was not explicitly mentioned in the provided positive reviews. However, given the nature of the establishment and the prevalence of takeout in the category, it is reasonable to assume that Panda Wok likely provides this option as well. To confirm the availability of takeout or delivery services, contacting the restaurant directly would be the best course of action.

A significant feature of Panda Wok is the positive feedback received regarding the quality of their food across different categories. One reviewer was particularly impressed with their signature sushi roll, stating it was "the best sushi I’ve had in a while" and even preferred it over that of another local establishment, Asian Imperial. This highlights the unexpected strength of their Japanese offerings alongside their Chinese dishes. The same reviewer also praised their partner's lo mien and the "solid" egg rolls, as well as the "fantastic- and strong" drinks and the freshness of their fortune cookies.

Another customer who dined in specifically highlighted the exceptional quality of certain Chinese appetizers. They found the chicken fingers to be "lighter and crisper than others I've had (delicious)," and the scallion pancake appetizer was described as "the best I've had anywhere." This indicates that Panda Wok excels in preparing classic Chinese appetizers with a unique and appreciated touch. The beef teriyaki and boneless spare ribs were also rated as being "as good as anywhere else," suggesting consistent quality in these standard dishes. While this reviewer preferred the pork fried rice elsewhere, they still considered it "good," indicating an overall positive experience with their Chinese food selections.

It is noteworthy that one reviewer explicitly addressed and dismissed "those bad reviews," suggesting that past negative experiences might not reflect the current state of Panda Wok. This indicates a potential improvement in the restaurant's standards or a difference in individual experiences and expectations. The positive reviews emphasize cleanliness, good service, and high-quality food, painting a favorable picture for prospective diners.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available in the provided customer reviews. Restaurants often have special offers or lunch deals to attract customers. To learn about any current promotions, discounts, or special menu items at Panda Wok, it is recommended to check their website (if they have one) or contact them directly via phone. Local residents might also find information about promotions through community newsletters or local social media platforms.

In conclusion, Panda Wok in Townsend offers a diverse menu of both Chinese and Japanese cuisine, including a praised sushi selection. Recent customer reviews highlight the cleanliness of the restaurant, the friendliness of the staff, and the high quality of the food, particularly the signature sushi rolls, chicken fingers, and scallion pancakes. While dine-in service is confirmed, those interested in takeout or delivery should contact the restaurant directly. The positive feedback suggests that Panda Wok provides a satisfying dining experience that some customers even consider superior to other local options. For local users in Townsend looking for a Chinese restaurant with the added appeal of quality sushi, Panda Wok appears to be a highly recommended choice. To stay informed about any special promotions or to inquire about their full menu and services, contacting the restaurant directly is advised.

Genuinely wish I had tried this place sooner, everything we tried was so good. I seriously don’t know what those bad reviews are on about- it’s cleaner and nicer than a lot of restaurants in the area and the staff were great! I had one of their signature rolls and it was the best sushi I’ve had in a while- I’d even dare to say it’s better than Asian Imperial. My partner had a good plate of lo mien and some solid egg rolls. The drinks here, also fantastic- and strong. And the fortune cookies are not stale! (Another issue I’ve recently had with a lot of restaurants) Can’t wait to come back!

Each Chinese restaurant has its unique flavors. In this place, We sat down for service rather than take out. I thought the chicken fingers were lighter and crisper than others I've had (delicious), and the scallion pancake appetizer was the best I've had anywhere. Beef teriyaki and boneless spare ribs were as good as anywhere else. I preferred the pork fried rice elsewhere but still good.

One of my favorites in this area! They got a little busy on this night, but we were in no hurry. Drinks, appetizers, and entrees were all spot-on! Hot and delicious. Oh, very happy with the sushi too! This is my favorite for take-out too. Sit at the bar, have a drink, and put my order in.

This is a pretty good place. Good waitstaff, food is consistently good and I love their fruit punch. Happy to try some sushi soon. All around good place.

If you eat there the food is decent, but if you bring it home they cut the portions in half with worse quality. I got salty beef gravy when I ordered beef and broccoli. I would even order this for my dog.
