About Panda

Welcome to Panda, a Chinese restaurant situated at 2807 Mermaid Ave in Brooklyn, New York. As part of the Chinese Restaurant category, Panda aims to serve the local community with a variety of Chinese cuisine. The restaurant can be contacted at (718) 373-0453 or +1 718-373-0453.

Based on the limited customer feedback available, it appears that recent experiences at Panda have been significantly negative. One reviewer described several issues with the food quality. According to this feedback, the meat served was "dry, hard, not fresh, overcooked." These descriptors indicate potential problems with the preparation and freshness of the protein used in their dishes, which could be a major concern for potential diners. The same reviewer also commented on the "spring roll," stating that it was excessively greasy, with oil running down the hands while eating. This suggests an issue with the cooking method or the quality of ingredients used in their spring rolls.

The reviewer concluded their feedback with a strong negative recommendation, advising others not to patronize the establishment. This direct and unambiguous statement underscores the severity of their dissatisfaction with their dining experience at Panda.

Adding to these concerns, another customer shared an alarming and disturbing experience, stating that their mother found "a nail in her food." This is a serious hygiene issue that raises significant questions about food safety practices within the restaurant. The reviewer's reaction, expressed with strong negative emojis, further emphasizes the severity and unacceptability of such an incident. The presence of a foreign object like a nail in food poses a potential health hazard and indicates a lapse in food preparation and handling procedures.

Given the limited but highly negative feedback, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive introduction to Panda regarding its environment, services, or features. The available reviews focus solely on critical issues related to food quality and hygiene. The description of dry, hard, not fresh, and overcooked meat, along with excessively greasy spring rolls, paints a concerning picture of the food preparation. The reported incident of finding a nail in the food is a particularly serious matter that potential customers should be aware of.

In summary, the recent customer feedback for Panda, a Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn located on Mermaid Avenue, is overwhelmingly negative. The issues highlighted include poor food quality, characterized by dry, hard, not fresh, and overcooked meat, as well as excessively greasy spring rolls. Most alarmingly, there is a report of a customer finding a nail in their food, indicating a significant lapse in food safety and hygiene. Based on this limited information, there are serious concerns regarding the dining experience at Panda.

For local users in Brooklyn considering Panda for their Chinese food needs, it is crucial to take into account the severely negative feedback provided by recent customers. The reported issues with food quality and, more significantly, food safety are significant deterrents. Potential diners should be aware of these concerns before deciding to patronize this establishment. The lack of any positive feedback or information about the restaurant's environment or services further underscores the need for caution based on the currently available information.

At this time, there is no information available regarding any promotional offers or specific features of Panda that might counterbalance the serious negative feedback. Without any additional positive reviews or information about improvements in food quality and safety, it is difficult to recommend this restaurant to local users. The priority should be on addressing the critical issues raised by customers to ensure a safe and satisfactory dining experience. Potential customers may want to seek alternative Chinese restaurants in the Brooklyn area with more positive and reassuring recent reviews.

I ordered a chicken and broccoli with white rice the other day and it was horrible. The food basically could give you high cholesterol after eating. It had a lot of sauce the rice was dry as hell not even duck sauce could save it. The meat was too salty. I was upset . They need to also clean up in their restaurant no matter how old it is
