About Panda Garden

Panda Garden is a Chinese Restaurant situated at 2370 McGrady Dr SE in Cleveland, TN 37323. For those in the Cleveland area seeking Chinese cuisine, Panda Garden is one of the available options. They can be contacted at (423) 478-2000 or +1 423-478-2000 for inquiries or orders. Based on the limited recent online reviews, customer experiences at Panda Garden appear to be highly polarized, with one reviewer expressing extreme dissatisfaction across multiple aspects, while another found the restaurant to be very clean with absolutely delicious food.

Regarding the environment of Panda Garden, one reviewer provided specific details, noting that the restaurant is "decorated in printed out pictures of food." This could suggest a simple or perhaps less professionally decorated interior. However, another reviewer described the restaurant as "Very clean," which is a significant positive aspect for many diners. These contrasting views indicate that while the aesthetic might not appeal to everyone, the cleanliness of the establishment may be a strong point. Local users who prioritize hygiene may find the latter review more reassuring, while those who value ambiance might want to manage their expectations based on the former comment.

The service at Panda Garden also received conflicting feedback. One reviewer had a very negative experience, citing an instance where the woman at the counter was loudly addressing her child about eating fried rice. More significantly, this reviewer reported that a request to substitute fried rice for noodles for their husband was refused. Additionally, they described the service as scoring "0," implying a lack of attentiveness or accommodation. In stark contrast, the other reviewer did not comment negatively on the service, focusing instead on the cleanliness and food quality. This discrepancy suggests that service experiences may vary, or perhaps the negative experience was an isolated incident. Potential customers should be aware of the possibility of inconsistent service quality.

Several features of Panda Garden can be identified from the customer reviews, again presenting a divided perspective. One reviewer found the food to be exceptionally poor, stating that it "literally had no flavor." They questioned the authenticity of the chicken, described the fried rice as yellow and resembling flavorless boxed Mexican rice, and found the fried shrimp to be so hard it caused injury. Even the sweet and sour sauce packets were reported to have no flavor. Furthermore, this reviewer mentioned finding a hair in their husband's cashew chicken, highlighting significant food quality and hygiene concerns. This detailed negative feedback paints a picture of severely substandard food.

However, the other reviewer offered a completely opposite opinion, stating that "the food is absolutely delicious." This stark contrast suggests a significant inconsistency in the food quality or perhaps vastly different palates and expectations between the two reviewers. The positive review is brief but emphatic in its praise of the food's deliciousness, indicating that some customers may indeed find the cuisine at Panda Garden to be enjoyable. The lack of specific dishes mentioned in the positive review makes it difficult to reconcile with the detailed negative descriptions provided by the other customer.

The fact that Panda Garden is a Chinese Restaurant implies a menu featuring a variety of traditional and perhaps Americanized Chinese dishes. However, without a menu or more detailed descriptions of the food from the positive reviewer, it is challenging to elaborate on the specific types of cuisine offered. The negative reviewer's comments focused on specific items like fried rice, chicken, fried shrimp, and cashew chicken, all common dishes in Chinese restaurants.

Currently, there is no promotional information mentioned in the provided customer reviews. Local users interested in any potential special offers or discounts are encouraged to contact Panda Garden directly at (423) 478-2000 or +1 423-478-2000 to inquire about current promotions or daily specials. However, given the severely negative feedback regarding food quality and service from one reviewer, potential customers may want to consider this feedback carefully before being swayed by any potential promotions.

In conclusion, Panda Garden in Cleveland, TN, presents a highly contradictory image based on the two recent customer reviews. One reviewer experienced extremely poor food quality, questionable service, and a concerning lack of flavor in multiple dishes, along with hygiene issues. In stark contrast, another reviewer found the restaurant to be very clean with absolutely delicious food. These opposing views make it difficult to provide a definitive assessment of Panda Garden. Local users considering dining at or ordering from Panda Garden should be aware of these contrasting experiences and may want to proceed with caution, perhaps trying a few specific dishes to form their own opinion, while also considering the reported cleanliness of the establishment.

Honestly, if I could give this 0 stars then I would. Firstly, the restaurant is decorated in printed out pictures of food. Secondly, the woman at the counter kept yelling at her son to eat his fried rice, and then after tasting the fried rice it makes sense why he wouldn’t eat it. She refused to sub out my husband’s fried rice for noodles. And the food itself literally had no flavor. The chicken, we are sure wasn’t even chicken. The “fried rice” was yellow and looked like boxed Mexican rice but without any flavor. And the fried shrimp was so hard that it cut up the inside of our mouths. EVEN THE PACKETS OF SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE HAD NO FLAVOR. I’ve never had a Chinese restaurant forget the salt. Although, my husband found a hair in his cashew chicken, so that was a fun surprise. They definitely scored 0 on food and service.

This was absolutely terrible. I got over $60 worth of food. Two of the orders were for chicken. The chicken was paper thin and had the consistency was a combo of snot and fat every piece of this was like this. Wasn't worth throwing away but I did anyway!!!!!!!

I will have to admit this is the best deal in town for lunch!!! For only $4.49 plus tax you have the choice of Thirty-One lunch combinations and it's only an additional $0.50 if you would like soup with it. Keep in mind a lot of the food is already pre-made as it is a buffet style dining and some of the items are made fresh to order for takeout orders. The customer service is a little Dry. The hostess Was a bit very friendly and never smiles but very efficient but for that price Who cares! If you have a large family Group to feed on a small budget then lunch at panda garden would be your best deal. Now let's get to the food to starters I had the dumpling soup it was served at the right temperature and very flavorful a little the broth was a tad bit too salty for my taste but it was quite tasty. The action dumplings were delicious tender and delicate to the pallet. Four main course I had chicken lo mein with pork fried rice and he was quite lovely! Very delicious noodles with veggies and tender strips of marinated chicken! The fried rice was also done to perfection all in all one of the most tasty Chinese food in town A STEAL!!!
