About Panda Garden

Panda Garden is a Chinese restaurant located at 431 US-22, White House Station, NJ 08889, USA. They can be contacted at phone number (908) 823-0888 or mobile phone +1 908-823-0888.

Based on recent customer reviews, experiences at Panda Garden appear to be mixed. One customer described the food as having "absolutely no flavor," citing bland fried pork rice that tasted like plain white rice. Their roast pork with Chinese vegetables combination platter was reported to be loaded with zucchini and onion instead of traditional Chinese vegetables, with fatty pork and a bone found in the dish. This reviewer also described the atmosphere as "very dingy" and characterized the establishment as a "whole in the wall place," stating that the food quality was not authentic Chinese. They were also charged extra for Chinese noodles that were not included with their platter and given only three small packets of extra hot sauce. This customer felt the portions were small for the price and expressed dissatisfaction with the rude phone conversation when they voiced their complaint about the use of zucchini.

However, another customer had a more positive experience with the Singapore mei fun, calling it "one of the best in the area." This reviewer also noted that the Crab Rangoons had "absolutely no filling," which they found disappointing despite a good flavor.

In summary, reviews for Panda Garden present a varied picture. While one customer found significant issues with the lack of flavor, ingredient substitution, small portions, dingy atmosphere, and poor service, another praised the Singapore mei fun but criticized the lack of filling in the Crab Rangoons. Potential customers may want to consider these contrasting opinions when deciding to dine at Panda Garden.

The food has absolutely no flavor. Fried pork rice bland and tastes like regular white rice. I ordered roast pork with Chinese vegetables combination platter. It's was loaded with zucchini and onion. Pork was all fat and I even found a bone. It's a whole in the wall place. Quality of the food is NOT authentic Chinese food at all! I wasn't given any Chinese noodles with my platter,so I asked for some and was told that I had to pay for them. I also asked for extra hot sauce and was given (3) small packets. The portions are small for the price. Very dingy atmosphere. I'll not be ordering from them again. I even called to express my complaint of zucchini being used in place of Chinese vegetables and she argued with me. If I want zucchini,I'll grab it from my garden. Whatever was available was used to make my meal which wasn't eaten. Zucchini is NOT a Chinese vegetable. The lady was rude on the phone. I don't know what changed in the restaurant as it used to be good. Not great, but acceptable.

Crab Rangoon’s have absolutely no filling. It’s a shame because the flavor is good. Singapore mei fun one of the best in the area

This is a down and dirty Chinese take-out. The food is really good and consistent in its quality every time.

Nothing personal - the food was on par with other Chinese restaurants in the area. Orange beef was inedible, mainly b/c it was nearly void of meat. Photo is what was left after I picked out what little meat was present. GSChicken wasn't much better - mostly breading, little flavor and missing the requested spiciness. Husband ate a few pieces and gave up. Steamed vegetables were ok, but the shrimp that came with them were chewy and had a strange aftertaste. I do not like giving negative reviews, but I'm starting to think the only way we'll get decent Chinese food in the region is to speak up.

Just ordered the Sa Cha Chicken. It was 97% ONION and very bland. If I wanted a sliced large onion sauted in Chinese sauce, I would have asked for it. It was horrible and cost over $10.
