About Panda Express

Panda Express, a well-known chain in the Chinese fast-food restaurant category, has a location at 20041 Ventura Blvd in Woodland Hills, California, serving local residents seeking quick and convenient Asian-inspired meals. While Panda Express is generally recognized for its standardized menu and efficient service, recent customer reviews for this specific Woodland Hills location present some significant concerns regarding food quality, order accuracy, and staff conduct.

One local resident, who lives close to this Panda Express and reports giving them "god knows how many chances," expressed extreme dissatisfaction with their repeated experiences. This reviewer stated that either "the food sucks" or the restaurant gets the order wrong "every time." Based on this consistent negative experience, they called for a complete change of staff and new management, indicating a severe and ongoing issue with the overall operation of this particular branch.

Another customer, while acknowledging that the "food is good," raised serious hygiene concerns. This reviewer described observing employees using their phones near the food warmer and then proceeding to grab and serve food without washing their hands or changing gloves. Such practices are significant violations of food safety standards and are understandably described as "disgusting." Additionally, this customer reported witnessing an employee taking a lunch break and leaving a mess without cleaning up, subsequently being directed to clean the dining area but failing to wipe down the table where the mess was made. The reviewer specifically named two employees, Eleazar and Honey, suggesting they need better training in hygiene and customer service. Frustration was also expressed regarding the inability to complete a survey due to an illegible receipt code, which was attributed to a lack of ink or a faulty receipt printer.

The feedback from these two recent customers paints a concerning picture of the Panda Express in Woodland Hills. The first review highlights significant and persistent problems with food quality and order accuracy, suggesting potential issues with food preparation and attention to detail. The second review raises serious red flags regarding hygiene practices and staff conduct, which could have significant implications for food safety and the overall dining experience. The issues with the receipt printer further indicate a lack of attention to basic operational details.

For local users in Woodland Hills seeking a quick Chinese meal, these reviews should be carefully considered. While Panda Express as a brand typically offers a certain level of consistency, the experiences reported at this specific location suggest a considerable deviation from expected standards. The repeated issues with food quality and order accuracy, as mentioned by a nearby resident with multiple negative encounters, indicate that these problems may be systemic.

The hygiene concerns raised by another customer are particularly serious. Observing staff handling phones in food preparation areas and then serving food without proper handwashing or glove changes is unacceptable and poses a risk to public health. The lack of cleanliness in the dining area, including an employee not cleaning up their own mess, further contributes to a negative impression of the restaurant's overall standards.

The inability to provide a readable survey code on the receipt also suggests a lack of attention to customer feedback and an operational oversight that prevents customers from officially registering their experiences. This could indicate a broader issue with management and quality control at this location.

Given these significant concerns regarding food quality, order accuracy, hygiene, and staff conduct, local users in Woodland Hills might want to exercise caution when considering this particular Panda Express location. While the convenience of its proximity may be appealing to some, the reported negative experiences suggest that the potential drawbacks may outweigh this convenience. It might be prudent to consider alternative Chinese food options in the area until there is evidence of improved management and adherence to basic standards of food preparation, hygiene, and customer service at this Panda Express.

Panda Express at 20041 Ventura Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA 91364, can be contacted at (818) 883-8818 or +1 818-883-8818 for any inquiries. However, based on the recent negative feedback, potential customers may want to temper their expectations and consider the reported issues before deciding to dine here.

In conclusion, recent customer reviews for the Panda Express in Woodland Hills raise significant concerns about food quality, order accuracy, hygiene practices, and staff conduct. Local users should carefully consider this feedback before choosing to dine at this location and may want to explore alternative options to ensure a satisfactory and safe dining experience.

Please change up the entire staff and have new management. This location is literally by my house and god knows how many chances i gave them but either the food sucks, or they get it wrong every time.

Food is good but makes me think if employees wear gloves and use the phone where the food warmer is at and continue to grab and serve food without wash their hands or changing gloves is disgusting. Also an employee that takes a lunch and doesn’t clean up after themselves says a lot. She made a mess and switched sits better. Also I notice they sent her to clean up the dinning area not once did she wipe the table off that she made a mess. Eleazar & Honey need to be trained better. I would have done the survey but you can’t see the code on the receipt . In general they need ink or a new receipt printer…

😋😁🙂😋👌This was the first time for me to come to this location. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I had been having a craving for Panda Express food for a couple of days and found this location by doing a Google Maps search for a location near me as I had recently moved to the area. Finding a parking spot was a little bit of a challenge, but not all that bad. When I got home to eat, I noticed the portions were a nicer size than some of the other locations that I've been too. Now that I know this location is near me, and knowing the portions are a nice size, I will definitely be coming here on a regular basis 😋😁🙂😋👌

I came in to pick up a to-go order that I could clearly see was ready on the counter behind the register. I could have walked in and ordered and had it ready faster. They helped four groups of people in front of me, including another group who came in after me for a to-go order! I finally had to get a gentleman's attention as he walked past and ask if I could just get my to-go order since it was there.
