Panda Express

This is the best Panda Express I've visited. Portions were considerably better than their West Valley locations... as those other locations always try to serve me as less as possible. Servers treated me nicely and respectful. Ambience is very good. Clean and nice inside and outside. I think that they open an outdoor ticket area during warmer days. This branch is conveniently located on a main road and close to freeways. Also, located at the crossroads plaza with ample parking. I wish this was located closer to my house!

Service was great and restaurant looked pretty clean when I went. I had ordered a couple of plates and the food wasn't too bad. The only thing I'll add was that the noodles were dry and bland, the rice wasn't very flavorful either, and there were only a few small pieces of beef in the broccoli and beef dish.

TL;DL: The chicken they served was not cooked. (Still waiting to see if I get food poisoning.) It took them 32 minutes to take my order with no one ahead of us. Paid extra for he black pepper Angus beef. For 4 very small pieces. (Pics included) Last night we went to panda express. There was one person waiting for their order and us. My nephew sat there waiting for 19 minutes until they took his order and it took them 32 minutes before they took mine. They kept filling online orders while ignoring us as we were standing at the counter waiting to order. When they did finally take my order I asked if they were going to make anymore of the black Angus pepper beef..cause there was only a couple small pieces left. The guy said he would tell them too and it would take 7 minutes. I also ordered orange chicken. Less then 2 minutes later they said that my order was ready. Strange that wasn't anywhere near 7 minutes. As I opened it up and they gave me couple small pieces that were left without making more any more. Keep in mind I paid $1.25 extra for that. Which is just ridiculous. (Pics included.) I took a bite of the orange chicken and looked and it was pink inside. Which is a serious health code violation. I had eaten most of it at that point. But the 3 pieces I had left all were pink inside. I went up and showed the lady who took my name and offered me a free meal. I said I'm not worried about that. I'm worried about getting sick. As well as everyone else you've served this chicken to today. She said okay. And didn't do anything. Didn't even take the test of the chicken of the line out front. (Pics of my pink chicken also included.) I reported it to the health department cause that's just not acceptable.

Ford's as expected and good. I just wish they'd be honest with how long something will take to cook. I was told it would be "3 minutes" I ended up waiting 14 minutes. Just be honest I'm good with that. Unless you yourself are going to push to get that food done don't suggest the bare minimum time it would take to cook something if it was started that second. I watched that food not get dropped into the fryer until I asked where it was 8 minutes after my food was paid for. that means there was a minute or 2 I'm not accounting for from the time I was told 3 minutes ago it was over 15 minutes. that's 5X what was estimated. I wouldn't have ordered the ragoons knowing that. They were very nice and apologetic as can be expected so that's why it's only 3 stars not worthy of higher or lower there.

Hidden gem of Panda Expresses. With other close locations, this location isn't busy at all during a dinner rush. Only critique is the chow mein should have more thinly diced vegetables and more noodles than vegetables. FYI, Yarid did an excellent job assisting me. She is engaged and quick to work. Hire more like her.
