About Panda Express

Welcome to Panda Express, a Chinese restaurant located at 935 Windham Ct, Youngstown, OH 44512, USA. As a well-known brand within the Chinese Restaurant platform category, Panda Express typically offers a fast-casual dining experience with a focus on American Chinese cuisine. They are often recognized for providing a variety of dishes in a quick-service format, catering to individuals and families looking for convenient meal options. For inquiries or to place orders, Panda Express in Youngstown can be reached at phone number (330) 965-7388 or mobile phone +1 330-965-7388.

Based on the limited customer feedback available for this specific Youngstown location, experiences appear to be significantly negative. One customer expressed extreme dissatisfaction, stating they would give zero stars if possible. Their experience began with an attempt to contact the restaurant by phone multiple times, with no answer or instances of the phone being hung up after being answered. Despite this, they drove 30 minutes to the location, intending to take advantage of a advertised "$35 for a family of 5" meal deal, which they perceived as a cheap family meal option. Upon arrival, they encountered issues with a change to their order, reportedly being denied by the manager after an employee was willing to accommodate the request. The customer further reported a significant delay in receiving their food (20 minutes) and a structural issue with the food boxes falling apart as they were leaving, allegedly due to incorrect assembly. This overwhelmingly negative experience led the customer to vow never to return and express a desire for a refund.

Another customer review echoed a sentiment of poor food quality, specifically describing the chicken as being "harder than the iceberg that sunk the titanic." This harsh comparison underscores a significant issue with the texture and likely the freshness or preparation of one of their main dishes. The reviewer acknowledged that Panda Express is not a "5-star restaurant" but indicated that the food quality at this particular location fell far below even basic expectations.

Given these two highly critical reviews, it is challenging to provide a positive overview of the environment, services, or features of this specific Panda Express location in Youngstown based solely on this information. The negative feedback regarding phone service suggests potential issues with customer communication and responsiveness. The in-person experience described in the first review points to potential problems with management flexibility, order fulfillment time, and the quality of packaging for takeout orders. The second review directly criticizes the food quality, raising concerns about the standards of preparation at this location.

Typically, Panda Express restaurants are known for a counter-service model where customers select their entrees, sides, and appetizers from a displayed menu. They often feature an open kitchen design, allowing customers to see some of the food preparation. The environment is usually casual and geared towards quick service and high turnover. However, the provided reviews do not offer any insights into the actual physical environment of this particular Youngstown store. The focus of the feedback is primarily on the service interactions and the quality of the food and packaging.

In terms of services, Panda Express generally offers takeout and the possibility of dining in, although the reviews for this location do not mention the dine-in experience. The failed phone communication attempts suggest a potential deficiency in their customer service via phone. The issue with the order modification being denied by the manager indicates a lack of flexibility in accommodating customer requests, at least in this instance. The problem with the food packaging suggests a lack of attention to detail in ensuring the food is securely prepared for transport.

Features that are commonly associated with the Panda Express brand include their popular menu items like Orange Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, and Chow Mein. They often offer family meal deals and catering services. However, the negative reviews for this Youngstown location do not highlight any positive features. The mention of a "$35 for a family of 5" deal in one review turned into a negative experience due to the poor service and subsequent issues. Therefore, based on the provided information, it is not possible to objectively highlight any positive features of this specific restaurant.

Promotional information for Panda Express is generally available through their corporate website or in-store at participating locations. These promotions can include limited-time offers, new menu items, or special deals like the family meal mentioned in one of the reviews. However, the negative experience associated with this particular promotion at the Youngstown location makes it difficult to present it as a positive aspect. Local users would need to check directly with the store or the official Panda Express channels for any current promotions that might be available.

In conclusion, the limited customer feedback for the Panda Express at 935 Windham Ct, Youngstown, OH, paints a concerning picture. Both reviews highlight significant issues with customer service, food quality, and operational efficiency. Potential local users should be aware of these negative experiences when considering this restaurant. While Panda Express is a well-known chain, it appears that this specific location may be facing challenges in meeting customer expectations regarding service and food quality. Without further information or more positive reviews, it is difficult to recommend this particular Panda Express based on the provided data.

If I could’ve gave zero stars, I would have my biggest problem for this place is the Manager! I see so many people having problems with this manager. It’s a lady maybe in her early 50s to mid this lady is one of the most rude managers I’ve ever met in my entire life. I’m vegan and the first two or three times I went there she Told me that I could have the vegan orange chicken fried and the chow mein pan so it didn’t come in contact with the real chicken in the fryer. She never had any problem with it then either the third or fourth time I went back she was very rude and said no. When she never had a problem with it before and said they didn’t have time to fry it in the chow mein pan, but then told my brother that was getting the Steak that it would be a five minute or more wait since it took a little longer to cook so how is it she could Make the steak that took a long time compared to the food that was already ready, but couldn’t have them frying my beyond chicken and the chow mein pan Due to them being pressed for time? So she’ll go and take extra time for one menu item to cook, but not another? And be very, very rude to the customer in the process. When she never had a problem with doing it before? They really need to get a new manager for that place before they lose all the service there.

I got the firecracker steak and shrimp and it literally only came with one single shrimp in the entrée😭 The rice was overcooked and kinda mushy. It had a good flavor over all but I was disappointed. Especially since I had to wait so long for it to be done. It said a pick up time and I was there on time but had to wait bout 15min for it. They were busy so I don't hold that too much against em but I am bummed bout the shrimp.

My second trip and definitely my last. Ordered a new dish online, spicy shrimp bowl. The dish was 3/4 white rice with little to no veggies or accompaniments and 8 medium sized shrimp. The dish was also TOTALLY flavorless with the exception of the batter on the shrimp and the rice. Seriously. The rice had more flavor than the dish itself. There was not one other flavor present in this dish. What a deep disappointment given what they describe the dish as "tasting" like. The staff seemed hurried and stressed, which didn't add to the experience.
