Customer reviews for this particular Panda Express location in East Palo Alto present a mixed experience. One recent visitor had an exceptionally positive experience, noting that the place was very clean, the food was "yummy," and the staff was "amazing," specifically highlighting a helpful employee working the night shift on Saturday.

However, another customer shared a detailed negative experience regarding an incorrect order and the subsequent interaction with a staff member. This customer, Gabriel, ordered half-and-half with orange chicken and shrimp. Due to a delay with the rice, his plate was picked up by an "Asian heavy set Man" who added the rice. Upon arriving home, Gabriel discovered his order was wrong (broccoli, double rice, and almond shrimp). Upon returning to the restaurant for a correction, a new employee was very helpful and apologetic, offering to remake his original order and allowing him to take the incorrect order since it was going to be discarded. However, when this new employee asked the same "Asian heavy set Man" if Gabriel could take the incorrect order home, this staff member reportedly snatched the food and threw it away, also showing a mean demeanor regarding a small cup of shrimp that was part of the original order. While this reviewer praised the manager, Brandon, and other staff as "delightful," they felt this particular staff member's behavior was unacceptable.

Based on these recent reviews, the Panda Express in East Palo Alto can offer a clean environment with friendly and helpful staff. However, there is also a report of a significant issue with order accuracy and unprofessional behavior from one particular staff member. Potential customers may want to consider these contrasting experiences when deciding to visit this location.

I want to say that I usually never has a business owner right one star review for any business. My name is Gabriel. I went today to panda around 9:45 PM. March 21, 2025 and I was served by older lady when she was working. I asked her to serve me half-and-half and orange chicken and shrimp and since I was waiting for rice, it took a little while once the rice arrived. There is an Asian heavy set Man that picked up my plate and put it the rice. Afterwards, I took it home and I was not going to eat until I was ready to eat it because I was running a little errands so once I got home and Open the bag to warm up my food I noticed that it was the wrong order. It was broccoli and two times of rice and almond shrimps so I win at 10:15 PM to get it corrected as I got there there was I think she was new but she was very good helping me and she apologized and said let me fix it for you. Tell me what you order so I can make your order better or what you originally order so she was fixing it up. She put chow mein and the original items that I asked for earlier And I said instead of you giving me new rice I said can I take the one that was put in wrong since she told me they were going to toss the plate that I brought that was not mine and the garbage and she said yes you may you can take the whole thing if you like since we’re gonna throw it away anyways you can take it if you like Once she fix my plate that I originally ordered for she turned around and asked the Asian heavyset men which we all know because I have a lot of friends that go to that restaurant that he is a very mean guy to deal with she asked him. Can he just take it home since we’re gonna throw away he just grabbed the food from her hands, snatch it out her hands and tossed it in the garbage And I told him by the way my small cup of shrimp which it was I ordered a bigger plate so I had a little cup of shrimp in the in the bag he tossed it so she just made her give me another one but what a mean face said no I’d rather throw it away then to give it to You Like I said I’m not the one to make bad reviews for restaurants for for businesses being a business myself the manager, Brandon is amazing guy. They’re very amazing guy. He’s always helping everybody and putting a smile and just everybody is just delightful people, but this guy, the act the fact that they counter their shrimp when they were they giving you food to save their food and not wasting food by him, snatching the bag from the cashier and just throw it in the garbage just because I told him they gave me the wrong plate. It was on call for this guy. Don’t belong to work in a place like this. He needs to work wherever he feels better and wherever they except assholes like him to work

Came to write a review and I had already made one. Y’all have got to stop being so damn stingey with the food!!! Count your days panda! Usually come here often for lunch. Usually don’t get ripped off but this time they GOT me. Paid over $11 for 7 pieces of shrimp and just alittle bit of chow mein. DO BETTER panda

I’m a regular Panda Express customer, but the food today was very disappointing. The Chow Mein and Beijing Beef were both mostly onions and bell peppers. There was very little flavor, and no spice. So sad. Bye.
