About Panda Express

Welcome to Panda Express, a well-known chain in the Chinese Restaurant category, offering fast-food style Chinese cuisine. The specific location we are focusing on is situated within the Cone University Center at 9025 University Rd, Charlotte, NC 28262, USA, on the campus of UNC Charlotte. This Panda Express likely caters primarily to students, faculty, and visitors of the university, providing quick and convenient meal options. For inquiries, you can contact them at their phone number: (214) 232-3603 or their mobile phone: +1 214-232-3603.

Based on the limited customer feedback available online for this specific location, a significant concern has been raised regarding the portion sizes of certain menu items, particularly those containing beef. Two separate reviews from different customers express similar sentiments about the perceived skimping on the amount of beef served. One reviewer explicitly stated, "This is how much beef you get," implying a very small quantity. They further commented that the employees seem to be excessively frugal with the portions, as if the cost of the food were coming directly from their own earnings. This suggests a potential issue with the standard portion control at this particular Panda Express outlet.

Another reviewer echoed this concern, questioning the extremely small amount of beef they received, stating, "Literally what’s this, three pieces of beef🙄 do better?" This direct and critical feedback reinforces the idea that customers are finding the beef portions to be inadequate. The use of emojis and the imperative "do better" conveys a high level of dissatisfaction with the quantity of beef provided in their meal. These comments are crucial for potential customers, especially those considering ordering beef-centric dishes from this location.

Given the limited scope of the feedback, it is challenging to comment definitively on the overall environment of this Panda Express. Being located within a university center, it likely features a typical fast-food setup with a service counter and seating area suitable for students and faculty looking for a quick meal on campus. The atmosphere is probably functional and geared towards efficiency rather than a leisurely dining experience. Factors such as cleanliness and general ambiance are not addressed in the available reviews.

As a Panda Express, the services offered likely include both dine-in and takeout options, catering to the busy schedules of university affiliates. Customers can order their food at the counter and either eat in the designated seating area within the Cone University Center or take their meals to go. Online ordering through the Panda Express website or app might also be available, offering added convenience. However, the provided reviews do not specifically comment on the efficiency or friendliness of the service beyond the perceived stinginess with food portions.

Panda Express is known for its American Chinese cuisine, with popular dishes such as Orange Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, and various beef and noodle options. The specific features of this location would align with the standard Panda Express menu. However, the recurring complaint about the small beef portions suggests a potential deviation from standard serving sizes or a perceived issue in the preparation of beef dishes at this particular branch. While the quality and taste of the food are not directly criticized in these reviews, the inadequate quantity of a key ingredient like beef could significantly impact the overall satisfaction with the meal.

No information regarding promotional offers or discounts specific to this Panda Express location at UNC Charlotte is available in the provided reviews. It is possible that they might participate in national Panda Express promotions or offer student-specific discounts, but this cannot be confirmed based on the current information. To inquire about any ongoing promotions or special deals, it would be best to contact the restaurant directly at (214) 232-3603 or +1 214-232-3603, or check for any signage or information available at the location itself or on the university's website.

In conclusion, the Panda Express located within the Cone University Center at UNC Charlotte has received recent feedback expressing concern about the portion sizes of beef in their dishes. Multiple reviewers have indicated that the amount of beef served is surprisingly small, leading to dissatisfaction. While other aspects of the restaurant, such as the environment, general service, and the quality of other menu items, are not discussed in these limited reviews, the consistent complaint about meager beef portions is a significant point for potential customers to consider, especially those planning to order beef-based meals. Individuals seeking a more generous serving of beef in their Chinese fast food might want to be cautious or consider other dining options. For information on the full menu, services, and any potential promotions at this specific location, contacting Panda Express directly is recommended.

This is how much beef you get. These employees skimp so badly as if the food is coming out of their paycheck.

This place SUCKS! Most of the time, the items on menu are greatly reduced. No Kung pao chicken, no string bean chicken, etc. Only items can be easily fried are there. It seems no body can cook there. It is an insulting to the brand of Panda express and it is an insulting of Chinese food

This place suffers from a serious quantity issue. Food is average at best. Quality is passable. I used to be a regular, quality and quantity were decent. It has gone down. Sad thing is that, it is one of the two places in cone center that serves hot food, the other one is subway, so people really don't have much of a choice. I will not be patronizing this establishment for a while at-least.
