I never thought I’d have to write a review like this, but my experience at Panda Express (Winston-Salem location) was absolutely unacceptable. I ordered the Super Greens, and to my shock and disgust, I found a fully cooked grasshopper mixed in with the vegetables. This wasn’t a small insect—this was a large, noticeable bug that should have never made it past quality control. I immediately lost my appetite and was completely disturbed by what I saw. Food safety should be the top priority of any restaurant, and the fact that something like this ended up in my meal is beyond alarming. It raises serious concerns about how their ingredients are cleaned and handled. I have reported this to the local health department, and I strongly urge management to take this issue seriously. I also want others to be aware of this incident, because finding a foreign object—especially something as unsanitary as an insect—in food is completely unacceptable. Panda Express needs to step up their food safety practices immediately. I will never eat here again unless I see clear evidence that they have improved their standards. If you care about cleanliness and food safety, think twice before eating here.
Order to go. And I’m shocked at the portions. Literally I had four broccoli and a little bit of the super greens. Feel like they were truly slacking today. I have been to this location multiple times and it’s never been this horrible.
So you come to this place paying extra for certain items as the steak with vegetables and you get these 3 tiny chunks of meet .. and plus the server gives you an attitude when you ask why paying extra for that much meat.. complete RIPOFF!!!
Great food con service, and reasonably priced. We’ve been here quite a few times and everything’s always been great. My only complaint is that they need to wipe the tables more often. Other than that I love this place.
We were visiting family for Christmas and on our way home wanted to get some Panda Express. We love the orange chicken and we don’t have a Panda Express in our area. We always get a treat when we visit our family in this location. We got there not crowded at all- sat in the drive through 5 min- no communication from inside the restaurant. So we pulled up to the window only to see the employee just sitting there- not sure what she was doing but it definitely was not waiting on customers. We could have went inside but at this point we didn’t want to bother giving our business to a restaurant who apparently didn’t want the business. As much as we love Panda Express- we won’t be visiting this location again. Do better Panda Express.
