About Panda Express

Panda Express, situated at 8755 SW Robert Burns Dr in Wilsonville, Oregon, is part of a well-known chain of Chinese fast-food restaurants. Operating within the platform category of Chinese Restaurants, this location aims to provide quick and convenient American Chinese cuisine to the local community. Based on the limited customer reviews available, the experience at this Wilsonville branch of Panda Express presents a mixed picture, with notable inconsistencies in food quality but positive aspects in customer service, particularly concerning online orders.

One reviewer shared a rather polarized experience with the food at this Panda Express. They noted that "sometimes the food can be good," acknowledging that there are times when the food "does hit." However, they also stated that "other times it can be complete garbage," with their last visit resulting in food that was so bad they "couldn’t even eat" it. This significant inconsistency in food quality is a crucial point for potential customers to consider. Despite these negative experiences, the reviewer gave a three-star rating, attributing it to the times when the food is enjoyable. They also commented on the employees, suggesting that they "seem to hate their jobs for some reason," although they did acknowledge that Panda Express's pay is reportedly "pretty good." This observation about employee morale could potentially impact the overall atmosphere and service, although it's just one person's perception.

In contrast to the concerns about food quality and employee morale, another reviewer had a positive experience specifically with an online order. They placed an order online and requested it to be ready at 12:30 PM. Remarkably, right at 12:30 PM, an employee proactively offered them a free drink, presumably as a gesture for a slight delay, even though the food wasn't ready at that exact moment. The order was then ready just one minute later, at 12:31 PM. The reviewer noted that the restaurant appeared to be "incredibly busy" with both in-person and online orders. Despite the busyness, the employees thanked the customer for waiting, even though the customer themselves wouldn't have been bothered by a minor delay given the circumstances. This review highlights efficient handling of online orders and a customer-focused approach, with staff being considerate and appreciative of customers' patience during busy periods.

Based on these limited reviews, the environment of this Panda Express location is not explicitly described in terms of decor or ambiance. As a fast-food chain, it likely features a standard layout with a service counter, a visible food preparation area, and casual seating for dine-in customers. The comment about employees potentially disliking their jobs might suggest a less than enthusiastic atmosphere, but this is speculative based on a single observation.

The services offered by this Panda Express include both in-person ordering and dining, as well as online ordering with pickup. The positive review of the online ordering process indicates efficiency and a customer-centric approach. The offer of a free drink for a minimal one-minute wait suggests a proactive effort to ensure customer satisfaction, even when the restaurant is busy. This indicates a level of care for online order customers. The negative review does not comment on the service itself, only the quality of the food.

The features of Panda Express as a chain typically include a standardized menu of American Chinese fast food, such as orange chicken, broccoli beef, and various rice and noodle dishes. The key feature highlighted in the reviews for this Wilsonville location is the inconsistency in food quality, with the potential for both enjoyable and inedible meals. Another feature is the seemingly efficient handling of online orders and the courteous service provided to online customers, even during busy times. The observation about employee morale is also a notable, albeit potentially subjective, feature.

Currently, there is no information provided in these reviews about any specific promotional offers or discounts at this Panda Express location. As a large chain, Panda Express often has national or regional promotions, which local users might be aware of through other channels. To find out about any current specials or deals at the 8755 SW Robert Burns Dr location, it would be necessary to check their official website, mobile app, or contact the store directly.

In conclusion, the Panda Express at 8755 SW Robert Burns Dr in Wilsonville, Oregon, presents a somewhat unpredictable experience for customers. While the handling of online orders appears to be efficient and customer-friendly, with staff going the extra mile to ensure satisfaction, the quality of the food seems to be inconsistent, with some customers experiencing enjoyable meals while others have found the food to be inedible. Additionally, there is a suggestion of low employee morale, which could potentially impact the overall atmosphere. For local users considering this Panda Express location, it may be wise to be aware of the reported inconsistencies in food quality. If opting for online ordering, the service seems to be a potential strength. To learn about any current promotions, direct contact with the restaurant is recommended.

For those interested in visiting or ordering from this Panda Express, they are located at 8755 SW Robert Burns Dr, Wilsonville, OR 97070, and can be reached at (503) 682-9891 or +1 503-682-9891. Given the mixed feedback, potential customers might want to consider their priorities regarding speed, convenience, potential service quality for online orders, and the acknowledged inconsistency in food quality.

sometimes the food can be good, other times it can be complete garbage. Last time I went, I couldn’t even eat my food. It was so bad. I’m only giving it three stars because sometimes it does hit I can’t lie but other than that the employees seem to hate their jobs for some reason although I do know that panda does pay pretty good

Ordered online and asked for it to be ready at 12:30. Right at 12:30 an employee offered me a drink for free (presumably because my food wasn’t ready right then?) and I accepted. Then my order was ready at 12:31! They were incredibly busy with in person and online orders and thanked me for waiting even though I wouldn’t have been bothered even if my order had been late seeing as they were so busy.

I can’t say that I’m usually someone to leave reviews on anything really, but It’s personally so bizarre to me that this locations staffing keeps swapping out so rapidly within the span of a few months, the place is currently operated under the supervision of a gentleman by the name Ryan, who definitely wasn’t there a few months back, so my question is, why even after such a change in management, is the staffing situation still so unfavorable? I dont know if it’s the unrealistic expectations, or poor staff morale, but every time I’ve dined in, the employees seem so miserable or just plain horribly stressed. The food itself is what you’d expect, nothing terrible, but nothing particularly all too special, and while I know that one person isn’t necessarily enough to put the Panda Express chain out of business, I myself will no longer be eating at this location until either that manager receives some sort of retraining, or the staff themselves are treated better. It’s one thing to be labeled as some managerial title, but it’s another to actively represent the values that come with being a leader, and I can’t say that the people operating this location have that. Vote with you dollar people

Perfect meal for the long roadtrips! Always good and good value. Our go to, honey walnut shrimp, mushroom chicken and teriyaki chicken. Like they don’t ask for tip like some other fast food places. 1pm Sat, no lines and had good service. Haven’t had a bad experience at Panda yet, cross our fingers! :)

Such good food everytime. I wish I had unlimited money so I could eat here more often but it’s so good. Orange chicken with white rice is peak, I keep it simple
