About Panda Express

Welcome to Panda Express, a popular "Chinese Restaurant" chain known for its fast-casual American Chinese cuisine, conveniently located at 9425 SE 82nd Ave in Happy Valley, Oregon. This location serves the Happy Valley and surrounding communities, offering a quick and accessible way to enjoy familiar and flavorful dishes. As part of a national brand, Panda Express aims to provide a consistent menu of popular American Chinese fare, catering to individuals and families looking for a convenient meal option.

Customer experiences at the Happy Valley Panda Express location appear to be somewhat mixed, based on recent feedback. One positive review highlighted the cleanliness of the restaurant during a general manager's end-of-day walk-through, noting that despite being busy during dinner time, the staff was efficient in keeping things moving. This suggests that at certain times, the restaurant maintains a clean environment and efficient service, contributing to a positive dining experience. The reviewer also had a positive interaction with a staff member regarding a new drink sample, indicating friendly service despite an initial misunderstanding about their policy on samples.

However, other reviews point out potential areas for improvement. One customer reported inconsistencies in food quality over recent visits, mentioning that the "steamed rice was old" on a few occasions. On their most recent visit, about an hour before closing, they received food that was "hardly warm" and a smaller portion than usual. Additionally, this customer reported finding a piece of plastic in their food, specifically "the tear part of something a clear packet." This is a significant concern regarding food safety and quality control.

Another customer, while not detailing their specific experience at the Happy Valley location, mentioned that the "Clackamas mall location is better but you have to walk inside," implying a preference for another nearby Panda Express, possibly due to concerns about the Happy Valley location. This customer stated they "won’t be back soon," suggesting a negative overall impression of their experiences at the SE 82nd Ave restaurant.

Panda Express is known for its steam-table service, where customers can see and select their entrees and sides. The menu typically includes a variety of popular American Chinese dishes such as Orange Chicken, Sweet Fire Chicken Breast, Broccoli Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, Chow Mein, and fried rice. The consistency of these core menu items is a hallmark of the Panda Express brand. However, the recent feedback regarding the freshness and temperature of the food at the Happy Valley location indicates potential inconsistencies that customers should be aware of.

The environment of a typical Panda Express restaurant is designed for efficiency and quick service. Customers generally order at a counter and either take their food to go or eat in a casual dining area. While one review mentioned the cleanliness of the restaurant during a specific manager's walk-through, other aspects of the environment, such as the general upkeep during busy periods, were not detailed in the provided feedback.

Services offered at the Happy Valley Panda Express likely include dine-in and takeout. Given its location on a major avenue, it is also possible that they offer online ordering for pickup. To confirm the availability of specific services and to place orders, customers can contact the restaurant directly at (503) 771-3881 or +1 503-771-3881.

Promotional information for this specific Panda Express location was not included in the provided reviews. In conclusion, the Panda Express at 9425 SE 82nd Ave in Happy Valley, Oregon, offers the familiar taste of American Chinese cuisine with dine-in and takeout options. While one customer reported a positive experience regarding cleanliness and service during a specific time, others have raised concerns about the freshness and temperature of the food, portion sizes, and even food safety. Potential customers should be aware of this mixed feedback when considering this location. Usually it’s decent here but the last few times the steamed rice was old. I went here just now about an hour before close, my food is hardly warm and I got much less than usual. And I found plastic in there too, like the tear part of something a clear packet. Clackamas mall location is better but you have to walk inside. I won’t be back soon

As I was arriving the general manager was doing her end of day walk through, the restaurant was very clean and tho it was busy they were keeping people moving. I was there at dinner, they did very well. I asked to try the new drinks but the woman behind the counter said they don't do tastes, but there was a label that said try a sample🤣 she did great regardless she gave me one for free when I told her. It was a very good experience, I'm glad I stopped instead of going to the mall one. (Which isn't bad either I might add).

The lady was serving me my food and I asked for soy sauce and my puchina was itching so I was in a rush to get my std medication and first off the lady was very incompetent and RUDE as she quite literally snatched the 20$ bill out of my hand. Anyways as soon as I payed and went to my car I opened it to eat and she forgot my flipping forchin cookie😡 so I went to go ask for it POLITELY and she looked me dead in the eyes and started TWERKING and then she turned back around to face me and punched me in my face then started to sing lovely peaches song called itchin and burning…I told her while I was paying that I was in a rush to get my std meds so that’s how she knew. NEVER going back.

Their incompetence is unmatched. 3 times in a row horrible service. All onions in chow mein, heard they were out of 4-5 different types of food at 9:50. How are you out of food? Every single item you're out of? I watched 12-15 people go through the line in the 17 minutes I waited in the drive thru window yet you took my money and didn't have any of my order prepared.... Called many times and no answer on the number. Where's my refund for my food I didn't get? Photo's included of the onions.

Ordered online. Some of my order they had to make more so as they waited for 1 entree they had the rest of my food waiting for what would have been near 30 minutes because once the entree I ordered did come out, they filled orders BEHIND mine. When I asked for my order to be remade, so all of it was fresh, I got an attitude from the MANAGER. The worker was happy to help and understood. The manager made it her business to refill my order and decided to be petty and give my son barely any food in a kids' meal and then gave me mainly veggies in the chow mein.. what a joke, I hadn't been going to this location for awhile and this just proved to me that nothing has changed and if anything it's gotten WORSE.
