About Panda Express
Panda Express, a ubiquitous name in the American-Chinese fast-casual dining landscape, has a location at 1401 S I-35 Service Rd, Moore, OK 73160, USA. As a Chinese restaurant in a quick-service format, it provides a convenient option for those seeking familiar Chinese-inspired dishes. The brand is recognized for its signature Orange Chicken and a broad menu of stir-fries and sides, designed for efficiency and accessibility.
The environment at this Panda Express location is typical of the chain's fast-casual model. It features a serving line where customers can visually select their desired entrees and sides. There are designated areas for dining in, equipped with tables and seating, allowing for a quick sit-down meal. The overall atmosphere is designed for efficiency and speed, with a layout that facilitates a smooth flow of traffic. However, customer feedback suggests that while the physical setup is in place for dining, the operational priorities might sometimes lean towards the drive-thru. This can lead to a less attentive experience for in-store customers, as staff resources may be heavily allocated to serving the drive-thru line. The overall cleanliness and general upkeep of the dining area are usually consistent with chain standards, providing a functional rather than an elaborate dining ambiance.
Service at this Panda Express location, as reported by recent customers, appears to be inconsistent. While one reviewer described the staff as "very friendly, helpful," another detailed a highly negative experience during a dinner rush. The latter account highlighted long waits to order, a lack of greeting or acknowledgment for in-store customers, and a perceived prioritization of the drive-thru. More significantly, issues arose with food availability, with popular items like white rice being completely out of stock for an extended period (30 minutes) during peak dinner hours, with no apology offered. This suggests potential management and inventory challenges that directly impact customer satisfaction. Instances of staff appearing "inconvenienced and annoyed" when questioned about food availability indicate a potential lapse in customer service training or execution. While the intention of Panda Express is to provide quick and efficient service, these reviews suggest that the execution at this particular Moore location can be unreliable, leading to frustration for some patrons.
Panda Express is known for its staple American-Chinese dishes. The menu typically includes a variety of chicken, beef, and shrimp entrees, such as the iconic Orange Chicken, Beijing Beef, Broccoli Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, and Honey Walnut Shrimp. Sides commonly offered are Chow Mein, Fried Rice, White Steamed Rice, and Super Greens. Customers can usually choose between different plate sizes, from bowls (one entree, one side) to plates (two entrees, one side) and bigger plates (three entrees, one side), or even larger family meals. Appetizers like Spring Rolls, Cream Cheese Rangoons, and Chicken Egg Rolls are also available. While the food is generally cooked for quick service, some reviews indicate that the quality can sometimes be inconsistent, with a mention of "Broccoli almost raw" and a "spring roll was mushy inside." Another common observation from customers is that the available dishes can sometimes skew heavily towards spicy options, potentially limiting choices for those who prefer milder flavors, especially if other non-spicy options are empty or unavailable.
A consistent feature of Panda Express is its commitment to providing quick meals that fit a fast-paced lifestyle. The availability of a drive-thru further emphasizes this convenience. The menu is designed to be broadly appealing to an American palate, often adapting traditional Chinese flavors for a wider audience. However, the reported issues with consistent stock of popular items during peak hours, like white rice, and empty serving trays, can significantly detract from this core promise of quick and readily available food. The quality of flavored teas also received a critique for being too weak, suggesting that while the variety might be there, the execution in all areas may not always meet customer expectations.
In terms of promotional information, Panda Express regularly offers various deals and a loyalty program. The Panda Rewards program allows customers to earn points on purchases that can be redeemed for free food, such as upgrades to premium entrees, or free bowls, plates, and family meals. Additionally, the chain frequently runs limited-time offers and seasonal specials, which can be found on their app or website. Common promotions include discounts on specific entrees, family meal bundles, or incentives like bonus cards with gift card purchases. While these promotions are available system-wide, the customer experience at this specific location, as highlighted by a reviewer's struggle with an app deal and pricing discrepancies, suggests that ensuring these promotions are smoothly applied and understood by staff is crucial. Customers are encouraged to check the official Panda Express app or website for the most current promotions and to verify details with staff, especially when dealing with specific deals or large orders.
Operating hours for Panda Express are typically from mid-morning until late evening, usually 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM or 10:30 PM, seven days a week, making it accessible for both lunch and dinner. For specific operating hours or to confirm current promotional offerings at the Moore, OK location, customers can call them directly at (405) 799-8988 or +1 405-799-8988. While Panda Express remains a popular choice for fast-casual Chinese food, potential patrons of this specific Moore location should be aware of the reported inconsistencies in service and food availability during busy periods.

Very friendly, helpful! Food was ok, not original, was cooked well except Broccoli almost raw, and spring roll was mushy inside, went about 4 oclock on wed, 3 dishes empty, everything left available was spicy, only had to wait a couple minutes for 1 of the dishes. Flavored tea was too weak
Tried to go here for dinner today at approximately 5:15PM. We had to wait several minutes to put in the order. We weren’t greeted or addressed at all. But that’s not unexpected for this place. They put priority on the drive through instead. Once we were able to order, we were told there would be a wait for teriyaki chicken for about 5 minutes, which wasn’t preferable, but understandable. We proceeded to order and then we were told that they had run out of white rice. So we had to ask how long it would be and the worker seemed really inconvenienced and annoyed that somebody had the audacity to ask two times about how long it would be for a regular popular menu item to be back on the line. We were then told it would be 30 minutes. No apology was given. It was just 30 minutes was all we were told. What kind of piss poor managed place runs out of one of their primary sides during a dinner rush. This place has always been sketchy at best, but this was absolutely beyond the pale. I will never be going back to this location.
For an extra $1.50 each item, you’d expect edible food. Steak was hard, and the broccoli wasn’t edible at all. Rice was bland and hard as well. Very disappointing, considering they used to be my go to place. This is my third try this past 3months and still bad food
I hate that my initial choice looks like it was sitting there for 8 hours. I hate that I was second in line and it still took me 15 minutes to get my food. And I really hate that my large a la carte premium choice was only filled just over halfway after watching everyone else's order get filled past the brim.
Excellent food, but the ordering process is very strange here compared to every other Panda Express that I've been to. They've got one employee who takes your order and writes it onto the box, then it just sits there on the counter until a different employee gets around to filling it. Extremely slow and inefficient way to do it. An order that should have taken 30 seconds to fill instead took 5 minutes. Also, no one wants to listen to 80s dance music turned up to 11 at a Chinese restaurant. This is easily the worst Panda Express location in the metro area.
